That pickup configuration is a fantastic idea. Im not really a bass player, and can't justify that kind of expense for something im just using for demo tracks every once in a while, but this bass is wicked cool.
Clank clank clank! I've heard better Gibson Rippers! Good demo Henning, but for that sort of scratch, it should NOT be that buzzy & clanky! Esp on that G string! I don't think it's all that special a PJ style bass! PB setting WAS rather good tho! \m/
Weird that this bass is not featured on their website at all (or at least I couldn't find it)... Not even in the product gallery. I'll have to call to find out what the deal is. I'd love this exact bass.
Oh thats a good Idea throw those pickups in to a different body, I may have to do that because those pick ups are right up my alley. I would like to know what amp he is using and if he has a preamp or something. This sounds awesome I play fender jazz primarily.

The finish on the pick ups look fine. Any qualified bass player will not care.
