So you on the West Coast. Where the heck are you launching your Kayak that puts you in 60ft of water. Im in Sarasota and 10 mile out from new pass on my boat i am only in like 40ft of water... I just had my first keeper trigger fish today and man it is REALLY tasty!
Random thought since you're the undisputed champion of the world on upgrading the PDL with unique products. Those front two light plastic mounting plates just aft of the bow hatch, that would be a great spot to mount a console to hold small tackle boxes. Build a box that would connect to both sides, flip down/up drawer and you could probably get 3-6 of those Plano or Flambeua tackle trays in there.
Did research on grey triggerfish and spiny lobster interactions under Dr. Kari Lavalli back in the late 90s at Texas State University. As long as the lobsters stay in their pod they're pretty safe. There's always one idiot in the group that splits off and then its over. The trigs will blow water under the lobster to flip it over and then take off the legs. Fairly common behavior in attacking podded lobsters.
I read a few interesting things about their ability to blow water at prey. I always find it interesting how much random stuff goes on with each species. However, I can’t add everything to the videos. They would all be 20 minutes long hahah

Triggerfish eat everything! Most fish is healthy for you.
@@NavarreKayakFishing I thought trigger only eats sea weed..
Who's the guy that caught that monster trigger fish?
Hahah. He’s the same guy that said “I think I got sharked.”
