I picked up 2 pairs of shoes that I had never heard of the brand before. Guiseppi Zanotti. I bought them at a thrift store for $6.99 a pair. Sold one pair for $125 and the other for $150.
I always pick up cameras and lenses. A couple month back i went to my local senior thrift, and they had a lens i have never seen before. It was like a fish eye lens. Like always the lens was only $5 and i picked it up. Usually i get around 40-50 out of some of the lenses. When i got home i researched my lens and could only find one that has been sold on eBay just a few days prior. It sold for $1500 and i was like "What? Naaah, never" ...So i did more research. I was sitting here for around 2 hours and could hardly find anything about the lens i picked up. I found 2 websites were this product was out of stock. Even by searching for serial / product number nothing to that specific lens would show up. I couldn't believe it, i mean there must have been SOME sort of information.. After some more time digging and a lot of scrolling i found lenses that were a little similar to the one i had, but still not the exact model and they sold for around $700 on eBay and on a website. So i decided to put up the lens for $1400 and see what is going to happen. 20 minutes later the lens was sold. Full price. That was my best sale to this day. Made my jaw drop.
@@RALLIROOTS Thank you. Your reaction was basically my reaction. I couldn't believe it. It just seemed to be a very rare lens.. there was only 1 on ebay (like i said, that sold).. and even if i sold it 20 minutes later after listing it.. after 10 minutes it had 12 watchers. So it must have been special.
