I believe it’s quite simple. He turned off the music in the game’s options and then took the soundtrack from Sonic Unleashed on top of the racr

Okay...I’ve seen some of the levels for this game, but this one is *Eye watering, skin blistering, mind meltingly F A S T*
And the jungle joyride song just made it 100x better.
Some of the fastest levels in the game are actually in world neptune.
However it doesnt look the fastest. One of my favourite levels is from alaska because of how tight the track is.

Yes. The regular Abruzzo music in Redout is just passable by comparison.
It's like a natural evolution of the acid music of classic WipEout with ambience thrown in. More tame, yet cultured and deeply orchestrated.

You’re absolutely right. Frontiers was a big disappointment to me in that regard. Sonic felt way too... slow in stages.

Only thing im having hard understanding is the drift(?) to i move with the turn or away.
And lastly is this the Earth DLC?
While turning into a direction, you have to strafe in the opposite direction to drift.

Yes, it's also available on PS4. But a fair warning, Redout is hard and even harder when you get to Class 4 ships.
But man do I love the speed of this game. :D

BoomSonicSuper Well, I guess in a fun way for me. The tracks can get tricky and you need to master strafing.
For me personally even after failing a certain track a few times I was never frustrated. The controls are so responsive it's always my fault for not reacting/strafing or taking a certain turn in time.
If you ever get this game, go with the ESA or Lucera ships first and max out the Magnetic Stabilizer and Active Repair powerups first. These will help you a lot in surviving the harder tracks. :)

How did you make it so the music changes according to the environment? At 1:02 when you are underwater the music gets bassy and muffled. Same for 1:25. Did you manually edit the song and superimpose it? Or is that the actual effect the game itself uses for its OST?
Manually edited. Just changed some equalizer settings during that part when editing the music to sound more bassy. :)

The game is inspireed by wipout and f-zero. Thier aim is to get it work like those game, fast and difficult, and its pretty well made.
Unfortunately, i have never play wipeout f-zero and any of those game, so i cant speak for them. The opinion itself while well receive, there is quite a bit of unfavourable, especially on track design and control
For me, i enjoy it, but some people dont.

Well you are basically controlling a super fast spaceship, you need way more control than a wheel can give you, a 🕹️, keyboard or simply a controller might be more appropriate.
Could probably work the sensitivity to match. But yeab. Definitely a controller thumbstick type game.
