I Put Sonic Riders Music Over Redout - Splash Canyon

- I wanted to play Redout since I haven't touched the game in a long while and I'm a bit rusty at the game. Also testing to see if UA-cam will destroy the bitrate if I upload the footage at 1440p. So yeah, a completely different video under a Sonic title in hopes UA-cam's algorithm won't bury my channel under.
Still I think Splash Canyon theme from Sonic Riders fits the Rotura boss track from Redout quite well, especially with the gorgeous visuals of some of the sections of this track.
As for the music used, I edited a custom mix of Splash Canyon theme from Sonic Riders and Sunlight Paradise from the Sonic fangame Sonic vs Darkness (both the music and fangame made by Nefault1st), so I hope you'll enjoy it (if you do, I can release it as a separate video unlisted).

Didn't have enough patience to wait for the video to process fully. The 1440p option should appear soon and hopefully get rid of all that pixelization

I agree but SEGA have long given up trying to innovate with Sonic and I cant for the life of me understand why. You would never see this kind of venture with Sonic today, the kind of thing that pushes the barriers of what can be done. Nah the best we can hope for is a half baked new something like Lost World's style of gameplay. I hope one day I'm proven wrong, and we get great Sonic games again. Cause I would totally play something like this over a Mario Kart clone like All Stars and Tag Team Racing.
@@stormcutter59 apparently it was because of Sonic The Hedgehog 2006, or Sonic 06 as some refer to it.
It sorta was this fast, it just didn't look it.

Sonic's music always gives the right vibes. And what I see Sonic Team could use a bit from this game is the camera! Like, you can *feel* the speed in this game, even if it could count just as a turbo/boost in a normal Sonic game. All the shaking and the sensation of cutting air is awesome!
Thank you for introducing me to this new game, i still play sonic riders and i was just looking for remixes of the song but this is video game is beautiful, i hope to get it one day

Yeah. Two problems though. I haven't played much of Sonic Riders (even though I love the OST) and I don't have any friends who are willing to play Sonic Riders.

It's already been said but they really should make a Sonic racing game like this instead of those Mario Kart clones.
Based on the games he plays, it's very safe to assume Marius looks like a crossbreed between Optimus Prime and Astolfo or any other trap out there
