Hey I know this singer. That’s Edward Sheeran Sr (born 1960) and he was famous singer in 1980s notably famous for his songs including “Perfect”, “Shape of you”, etc. more than 30 years later, his son Edward Sheeran Jr followed his dad’s footsteps and became a singer as well. He also covered his dad’s songs and it became hits in 2010s.
We married on April 15th, in 1987, and this was our wedding song. I remember grinning through it all as my husband whispered 'I love you' over and over again.

He actually did a duet with Whitney Houston, in San Francisco in 1995. I have an old VCR of that performance. Everyone had their lighters out for the song and it's said that that performance was the greatest of all time. That was the last show Ed would ever do. He retired from the industry in December 1995 and nobody has seen him in concert since. I have read that he plans to do a comeback tour next year. Let's hope he stops in Canada!

I remembered having my first kiss as this song was playing during the summer of prom 1985. I'm now 43, divorced with six kids, with two mortgages, three car payments and stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Listening to this brought back those simpler times... :'(

I used to hold my boyfriend, who nowadays is my dear husband (56 years of marriage 🙏🙏), back in 1982 and dance in the sound of Ed Sheeran. Such a nice guy! I had the pleasure to go to his concert right before his death. My husband was the one who got the tickets. He spent all the money he had been saving through his work and took me there. There was when I fell in love with him. At this sound. Miss greatest Sheeran! Hope future generations can listen to this song 😊😊
