Retopology is the worst part of creating a 3D model next to UVing and I think this would help me out a lot. And I think symmetry would be a very welcome feature for this awesome piece of software. I'm more interested in creating stylized characters though. Would this software still be useful for stylized characters?
i wonder if there is any special settings when need wrap different scales..... like wrap one hand to another bigger of a monster..... i get weird wrap places in that situation... checking this wrapping options about sampling flexibility and things but no luck yet
I don't see any point to use this tool for this thing. I think we can use maps to see this thing. Maybe I'm wrong but it's my point for now. And yes u made this tutorial very decent I mean u made every point very clear that's awesome.
Glad you found the instruction very clear. 😏 Now this software is a very useful tool that is widely used in film and game studios today, saves time so you don't have to retopo manually from start to end. EA, Framestore, Warner Brothers, Rocksteady are just among some of the big studios that use this program today. I suggest if you want to get ahead of the rest, learn this amazing software. 👌 As time goes by, more and more things will be automatic.
@@Victory3D Ok I'll check all ur videos on this tool maybe this can save my butt n time. Coz manual retopo sucks me and take lot of time. Thanks for informative reply
Shaan Saleem, I have a photogrammetry rig I've built and Wrap3 has been a game changer for me. It will also allow you to transfer textures. I wish Victory3D would do a video on that :)
@@rspearse , the process of wrapping textures onto a 3d mesh is actually discussed in the full course, check it out and sign up here: victory3d.com/p/hyper-realistic-character-portrait
you know its nice...but why didn't you use texture, I mean this could be done in Zbrush like in seconds.....? Of course it's a nice way to demonstrate the software but...still! XD
I'd say start learning retopo, this is only good for human models what happens if you sculpt monsters or things that are not with human features? :) This tool is really good when it comes to human models no doubt there, if retopo will take you 30 mins this will cut it to 15-20 mins thats all there is to it
You have an interesting manner of speaking in a good way.
very good tutorial as well!
TNX!
You are a godsend. Taking your course is on my list of things to do!

Thank you for the super helpful tutorial !
amazing!! .Well explained. it was really helpful, thank you :)
Very informative.
Thanks
very helpful thank you.
why do wrapping in wrap when it can be done using zbrush ??
Bc wrap can do it better, specially when you need an exact vertex order, like wrapping a g2f model.
i cant make them same size .S keyboard not working
Hi , thanks for the tutorial.
my compute button is lock , plz tell me why it is happening
Its because ur mesh has like eye and eye lids and stuff
so it will be good for animations?
Can I steal your way of saying "ok"? :D
option simetry
how to move the model? I don't see gizmo :/
