Ajit Virkud : Im 31 weeks / 6 days I see my midwife this Friday how soon after will they schedule the non-stress test . will I have to go to the hospital I'm not due till December 29th
NST is not done for all pregnant women. You will have to go the hospital for short period of time.
What would my midwife think it's wrong with my pregnancy to have to have this done

Your using 30-240 CTG paper to demonstrate in this video. 30-240 paper moves in 3cm/min speed not in 1cm/min. There are 2 types of CTG paper. They are below
1. US Standard : 30-240 CTG Paper with speed 3 cm/min
2. European Standard: 50-210 CTG Paper with speed 1cm/min

So the fetal movement is an essential part of the NST , fetal heart accelerations alone is not enough?
Yes. We are testing fetuses sympathetic response to fetal movement: there will be no heart rate accelerations without activity.
