Luke needs a shout out. He's a working machine!
💯💯💯💯
It’s Luke and I! That’s a great job. A nice bit of recycling too.
6:25 Fence out the sheep good luck with that🤣
He will need a bit of something in that tiny gap. A sheep will find that.
So many of the greatest inventors in history, spent at least some of their lives on a farm. There are so many widely different jobs to be done, that it demands interest and skills from many disciplines. Anyone who uses the phrase "dumb farmers" has never spent a second in their company or visited the place they often work longer than 12 hours a day.
Thanks Greg ☺️
Always making improvements and even the small ones make a big difference. Can't wait for the next video!!
Thanks Peggy ☺️
Is anyone else counting down the days for when the ladies see green & do their 🐄Dancing ......❤🇨🇦 NS .... xo
🙋♂️☺️
I love that you guys are always making progress with your projects!!
Fantastic video as always Tom keep them coming and Happy Farming
I cannot express the difference that a layer of geotextile fabric on the ground BEFORE the stone makes. Without it the stone just mashes down and disappears. With it the stone STAYS where you put it. Please check it out.
💯 will do, thanks for mentioning
As a former farmer myself, balingtwine and some fencewire is what we call "farmer-welding" , it works for a million things, and if you dont have it in your tractor, you can bet that you need it that same day! 😁
Your a legend tom and the man with the mushtash
So exciting to watch everything!!!!!
188th! GOOD EVENING TOM, LUKE, HIEDI AND THE GINGER WARRIOR WITH A MUSTACHE! PROGRESS IS PROGRESS! Aren’t you supposed to start tearing down the milking parlor today? Want to see the portable milking stand, and how it works! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA ❤🎉😊
My 2 year old loved the video keep up the good work tom
It's a joy watching you improve your farm. The love you have for your farm, you're home, really shows. ❤
We were waiting for the excavator bucket to slip off the post and crash through the tank causing a tidal wave of slurry 😂 Nice job ,cheers Tom 🍻
Plus you imagine 🙈
@@TomPembertonFarmLife I remember the slurry store bursting when I was at Harper adams in the late 1990’s
What a mess and no stopping it 😂
Great video tom
@@livingoffgridinscotland what year was that
YeHhh...I kinda held my breath.
Morning Tom
Tom, nobody could ever say you shy away from hard work, mate. Turn your hand to anything. We'll done all at team Pemberton special shout out to luke for his digger skills 🙌 💪
This is like watching FarmVille in real life its so cool. I love watching your projects.
Thank you ☺️
That new block wall would look good with a TP logo graffitied on it.
What a gentleman helping a damsel in distress😂 you deserve a medal and she owes you a pint.
Hahaha
Greetings from Australia love your channel well done on the improvement on yourfarm❤
Now't wrong with re-cycling. If the wood next to the steel rots, a couple of holes in the steel and bolt a new post on. Jobs a good un'.
Really happy seeing so much improvements to this farm
Man I was wondering when the new video was going to drop. Keep up the great work Tom watching all the way from Danville Kentucky
Thanks Jon ☺️
Coming on nice Tom. Love to have a wander around when I’m next up there to see it
Tom great to see all the improvements with the farm mighty stuff. why don’t you fence the side of the road by the field so that way you don’t have to be opening and closing gates into the yard
Tom the builder! Can we fix it?Tom the builder! Yes we can!👷😃👍
Good one team Pemberton don't forget when you but down all that crushed concrete later on put down a membrane of some kind 👍roll on the next video
Looks like you ought to be digging a ditch around your new road there, to drain it off; it would help keep the concrete from sinking into the wet soil around that edge
Ooo I'm really looking forward to the Friday video! I reckon it's gonna be the Case myself. Whatever it is, try not to ding it as soon as you get it... 😄
Another great video nice job tom@ Luke @ the Ginger guy are doing a great job 👍👍👍
Thought there was a drone operating in the background. Turns out it was a bit of dust on ma screen. Keep up the good work Luke 😉
hahaha
Afternoon great video. Operating a digger is something that take loads of practice to perfect it like a lot of things
I just need to time on the machine
Great show. Place looks better every day. Always forward.
Your way of tidying is like mine, stack neatly then move it elsewhere turn around and walk away. Seriously tho you guys have done a great job. Everyone should have a Luke! 😁 What would you do without him?
Hahah that’s it and 💯 about Luke 👌
Thanks for the video.
So good I watched it twice! - And partly because when my PC woke up this morning It had lost the sound.......
Love your “green “ credentials ,🤣using up bailing twine old girders etc.,👍🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶🤵♂️👏
hahaha
Top job chaps 👍🏻
When I started driving an excavator I was rubbish on it,but with practise I'd now be able to pick your teeth with it Tom.
Being honest ,I wouldn't have concreted those timbers in beside the steel posts cause you are right they will wroth out of it in no time.
You could have drill fixed them with self tappers from the other side of the steel. Or something along those lines.
Love seeing all the progress, keep it going 🖒
TOM. Please do a quick tour of your map released on farm sim … please I know your super busy schedule but be greatly appreciated
Just tought of put up a roofed mashinery hall next to the cow shed and the slurry store.
Get U bolts and bolt the wire to the flanges of the beam
Nice work that. Getting things done, recycling materials, and making things work for you. Great stuff.
Great video! I hope you do one of Jo taking you to the hospital. I am truly thrilled you are alright. It'll be interesting to see what they do to you, if you can film it. Have a wonderful evening!
I didn’t in the end. Didn’t think it would have been such an ordeal 🙈
6:05 great content again
Great!
*Tom gets into digger*
Me, grabs popcorn and watches intently for him to damage something
*Tom hands off digger*
Awwwwwwwww 😔
🤣🤣🤣 It is an adventure, always, isn't it? Love your comment.
Hahah so sorry… I just couldn’t get my head around it 😂
@@rhoveen thank you ☺️
I enjoy watching the evolution of you and the farm.
Fantastic ❤
top tip for driveing diggers tom, pushing the sticks = bucket away, pull the sticks = bucket comes in
So much happening. Every video new things. Can't wait to see what is next.
I can’t wait to chill out in 12 months 🙈
great stuff each video is a step forward
Tom, it's the 17th, has the milking bail arrived??? I'm excited that your most ambitious project is about to start.
Just seen you that you mentioned a delay in the bail arriving, a little niggle but looking at the next 40 years with your new parlour it's the blink of an eye.
That’s it, we will be ready for it by the end of this week though 🤷♂️
As part of covering the clamps you could may be look at putting a roof over the area and then putting all your supplement up feed stores there, (cake, selco, spuds, beets etc, make it easy to load up, and reduce waste). may be when the steel price comes down a bit more
Love the clean up and continue to make changes got the farm.
The progress with the yard improvements is looking great!
top stuff...how those jobs transform the farm..nice
Definitely use the crushed stone especially the price now. You'll just need a sign when the gates on. Keep tidy.
Another year of big change is upon us. So looking forward to it
Thanks Bob ☺️
Happy day, sweetness!! Who knew mud, manure and a maniacal farmer who lighten my life?
Great video Tom. Good idea to recycle the steel, if you had left the wood about 3 inches of the floor less chance of rotting. Ginger Warrior certainly knows how to handle the digger, have to ask him for lessons.
Always worth putting geotextile fabric down when stoning up, you’ll lose less to the mud slop and recover more for reuse in the future if you lift it again.
We’re gonna fill that in around the manure tank with stone and then that other area to where it’s all wet
enjoyable video as always on the fence could tie the wire off either end with a termination knot on the steels then no worries about timbers rotting and wire coming loss and use a tie wire on the inters to hold wires at right Hight
"I'm just worried about me concrete" and that flecking huge waggon bosting it.
Great job my brother 💙👍🏻
Enjoyed that one today m8
I'm voting for herliman.
The stone will provide a swail and support tractors if they wander. Compact it. Looks nice. Great way to use old iron.
Short And sweet . Moving along nicely Tom
Thanks Emma ☺️
Cheers
See you farm is on farming game
Would have been an idea to scoop little trenches to let the water escape before filling the side of the concrete of the new road.
Will it not drain ?
@@TomPembertonFarmLife it’ll make your fill go mushy.
Living where we use jackhammers to dig a post hole, it’s fascinating to see one just being pushed into place!!
Looks great Tom! Love watching video like this, thanks for sharing!
I can forsee lots of grass in the future, so much cleaner for you guys! I only wish the best for you guys!🇨🇦
Love a bit of recycling and it will look rustic , well done tom.
things are really starting to take shape, great video mate.
So sorry for you guys, your winter is cold, muck and snow all season long! Ucky weather is what it is called!🇨🇦
Using the resources on hand, smart!!
Worked for a man who's saying was...I have done so much . . .with so little. . . for so long. . .I can do just about anything,.. with nothing . . .forever. Yes, the man could stretch a penny till it spit out a dime. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome backfilling, makes me proud lol. Make sure you roll over it a lot to get it locked in. Will save that concrete and give you a solid foundation for anything you need to do later on.
Hello there.. Once again I think you need a ( backhoe loader ). I think it will help you a lot if you know how to operate it ! .. good luck :)
Nice slurry separater mr pemberton
No idea what your talking about...
Another very good video
Glad you enjoyed it
HI TOM YOUR DAD WAS VERY GOOD ON DIGGER JOHN
Cant wait to see the grazing plan. I would have done it all with the Mani, but who can resist a shot of a digger!!
Can't wait to see new parlour build up with temp milking bale (if that's the modern term). You seem to be doing great improvements all the time.
Tom, When are you and Olly going to get the yard brush finished?
I don't know If you have dry wells there, but if you have a big pile of concrete chunks. Break them into football size pieces and dig a big hole where you have standing water problems. Dump the concrete in the hole. Lay a sheet of landscape fabric on top of the concrete and put the dirt back on top. The bigger the area the concrete is the more water will drain. Then run a pipe to the water run off ditch with a water pump to keep the water below the surface. You can keep the areas around the buildings dryer and won't need to pay to get rid of concrete waste.
Should of drilled some holes in the steel post and screwed the wood to each other above the soil line ,but you have a good job on the farm with the improvements made over the last 3 years
Nice seperator Tom
What about spraying wooden posts with creosote help presever them for longer?
love seeing the farm becom better an better keep it up
Of all excavators the small ones are the trickiest to operate, get on a twenty ton and you will find it much easier.
I was having a nightmare!!
Anther smashing video Tom just keep the hard work up ending the video thanks form bryon
Never late finish when it’s still bright out 😂
Should have drilled a hole thru all of them to run the barb wire thru and put eye bolts on the ends but it looks good it will work for a long while great job
Another improvement that will benefit so much 👌🏻
