Yay, Keep the Aspidistra Flying and Travels with Charley! Good times! ♥ Joseph Conrad really does demand 110% of your concentration in order to follow the plot. I love him, but... yeah. 😂 I really need to read more Graham Greene. I've only read 1, but I own a few. I just got Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead from the library! The Story Girl is definitely more of a spring/summer book. The sequel is perfect for fall/winter. I hope you end up enjoying it!
I’m adding the quiche mystery to my tbr. I’ve heard of the author but never read anything by them. For me, cozy mysteries often feel slow and drag a bit. I tend to like the more suspenseful “regular” mystery books.
You read some interesting books. Seemed like a lot, for three months. I'm going to put Death on a Friday Afternoon on my TBR and the Quiche cozy mystery... I hope I like it as much as you did.
There were so many titles I've never heard of. Fascinating. It must be so challenging to think while all of that work is taking place. I hope they're done soon so you can have some peace. I wasn't a big fan of Heart of Darkness either, but I finished it and was disappointed with the ending. =/
@@angieandthegreatworld I wasn't aware of it being a guy's book. The only reason I read it was because my daughter had to read it for high school and I wanted to read it before I unhauled it. But I didn't even try Dubliners. LOL How's your diet? food can affect our thinking.
Keep the Aspidistra Flying is one that I would like to read. I've read quite a bit of Orwell but never that one. Nice finding another Christian BookTuber. I want to read Athanasius, what specifically turned you off to it?

In my opinion, The Quiche of Death didn’t drag at all. It was definitely more of a “fast-paced” cozy. Let me know what you think of it.
@@angieandthegreatworld I borrowed it from the library and will read it soon. I can't just read mystery books in March!
@@lindseyreads5450 I’m planning to continue reading the Agatha Raisin series after March.

I hope you do, too. Let me know what you thought of each book once you read them.

Thinking is hard for me during the best of times. 😂
I’ve seen Heart of Darkness on a several book lists for men, so maybe it’s more of a guy book. ??
