Look great. Question, what AASD servo cabinet is that? Any requirements to mount those? Is it a std U rack cabinet? How if at all is it modified to hang the AASD controllers. Also what Length DSUB25 cables did you use in the cabinet?
Is the motion from the rig filtered out of the VR? What is the point of the surge moving forward when you brake? Doesn’t that give a g-cue of a brief acceleration? Congrats on the rig!
Absolutely! That’s why settings used during video are quite low. Without seat belt tensioner operating, it could through you out of the seat. Thanks for your support.
Yes from Eracinglab. Surge actactuator well worth adding to any set up.This one I can highly recommend it can move you alot and quickly. Have the settings on the high side for fun and tone it down for racing.
You can reverse the surge in the settings. It takes a lot of experimenting. In the video setting we’re no where near maximum. The thing would through you out of the seat without a seat belt
You're telling me these are the people im up against in the iracing lobbies!!?!?!?!!?
Yep your Logitech 923 + about $30,000 will get you this setup :P
Yes. There are better rigs out there, but don’t let that worry you. You can’t buy driving ability. I’ve been iRacing 14 years and still no good at it.
Both vr and monitor. Both are good. Vr give a slightly better immersion
You don’t have the right VR setup if it’s just “slightly”
Great work bud !!
Awesome set up bro
Impressive !
Did anyone notice the slide out draw made for keyboard and mouse. It works great for easy access.

Looks great! do you happend to have the amazon link on that servo cabinet you got and any addons for it?

Surge forward. Like in a car, if you brake your body moves forward
What was the thing your taking about tweaking? I’m ordering the re mega4u❤
LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S GO GOOD VIDEO CONGRATULATIONS
You need a vr headset. Depth perception really give sense of speding. Monitor is just a moving picture
Yes I have got vr headsets.
@@scottmagee3113 so do you drive in VR or on monitor ? just want to know how it feels with standing still monitor .
You just can't let the vehicle roll over, otherwise Sim Motion simulates that too!😂

The setting in the Simracing Studio software, allows for that to be reversed.
Is this setup from Eracing labs, if so how do you find there surge actuator setup? Rig looks great btw

@SimRacingTime cheers mate, yeah have their RS+ kit and the tensionerR so I'm interested in the surge aspect.

quick question; if i brake my rig moves a bit like ''forward'' , yours seems to work in the opposite direction?
2:25
btw well done sir
Seating position is way too high for your wheel placement
Personal preference I guess 👍
@@scottmagee3113 I mean every car out there would say otherwise
Hi what monitor are you using and what FOV are you using on ACC if you run that sim please.
Just a 49 inch curve 3840x1080 monitor- but it’s even better in VR
