This, to me, was one of Emma’s best roles. She took this part and became another person. She is known usually for her comedic acting and she now is highly respected as a suspenseful drama. Absolutely perfect!
Emma Stone has done lots of dramatic roles. Irrational man is a good one so is Paper man and The Help and also The Favourite :) She is lovely

Aline Brosh McKenna wrote the story for Cruella and the screenplay for The Devil Wears Prada.. Not such a coincidence.
I'm glad Emma T mentioned about how visually stunning the film is because honestly the story could have been terrible and the film would have been totally saved on the visuals alone. Thankfully everything in the film was fantastically on point.

I took my Mom to see it and we could not have had a better time!! I’m so happy we could do that in the pandemic, and so full of love for both Emmas for having delivered such an iconic enjoyable story. I truly loved Emma Thompson’s baroness so incredibly much. She beat Meryl hands down and I’ve always been an absolute Meryl fan.
Except the Baroness was always awful while Miranda still had a heart at the end of the day? So it’s kind of insulting to say Emma did better with a character who isn’t nearly as complex as Miranda. Also why pit two talented women against each other? I advise you to watch some clips of Meryl as Miranda to remind yourself no one can beat that iconic performance.

@@EvaSofie To be honest,I also prefered the Baroness to Miranda,even if she's more one-note,and I preferred"Cruella"to"The Devil Wears Prada",even if it completely misses the point of giving a consistent backstory to the Cruella from the"101 Dalmatians"movie!X-P

This Movie was seriously dark which is extremely rare coming from Disney movies and I loved❤️ it.

I kind of expected it to be dark Amy Li because it was about the makings of a legendary villainess...even as a Disney film.
This movie should have been *far darker!* It's a movie about a woman we know because she wanted to kidnap,to kill and to skin a bunch of dalmatians puppies and in this movie she gets the _chance_ to kill 3 adult dalmatians and she doesn't even do THAT!Not only!But SHE gives Pongo&Perdy to Rudy&Anita as a present!And,most importantly,she does *nothing* really cruel throughout the movie,despite being nicknamed Cruella.They should have called her"Rebella"at best...it would have made more sense!X-P ...And I liked this movie,don't get me wrong!But it's NOT a movie about the Cruella WE knew and it's not *THAT* dark at all,all considered!X-P

I love how they both can do their accents seem so accurate. Emma Stone did an amazing job; especially how she had to do a certain accent for Estella and more of a suttle and evil type of accent for Cruella. They did amazing!

This movie is brilliant - the actors are all divine, and the script, delivery and execution are perfectly orchestrated. The costumes and make-up are the products of delicious genius. Loved it and can't wait for part 2.

I lovedd the film, I honestly wouldn't say it's an origin story, I would say it is more of a "Cruella in a parallel universe", and I LOVE it. I am not someone who needs it to be similar to the OG one, I like change, and I absolutely love how this story is so original. I think the costumes were amazing, the acting was amazing, the plot was amazing, but I reallly enjoyed the the use of music in this movie. I have been listening to a playlist of all the music used in the movie.

Emma Stone really hides the British accent well but I know she has to work very hard to sound American. She does it very well. It's the tone resonance of her voice that gives validity to her American sound. - LOLOL
Either that or she damn well deserves the oscar for best actress for putting on a fake British accent through the entire film that might be better than some natural British accents I've heard. I wouldn't be surprised to see a best actress and best supporting actress nomination for both ladies...it's that good!

The twists were so fun and cool and It is definitely one of my top favorite movies. I really hope that they make a second one.
