Turnbased games are thriving. Baldurs gate 3, Dragon Quest 11, Dragon Quest 3 Remake, Octopath games, the FF pixel remasters Persona games and Metaphor. Next year Clair Obscur, DQ 1 and 2 remake and hopefully FF9 remake and more.
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Claudia Ann Brandon, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Claudia Ann Brandon is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good husband, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
Not gonna lie, I am dead set on NOT getting a PS6 at all next gen... First the PS5 is my biggest console regret ever, it still doesn't even feel like a next gen upgrade, game lineup is so weak, and all I gotta do is wait 6+ months to play it on PC... Secondly I don't like how Sony does business. They stand for everything I hate about the videogame Industry. I don't need their box.
The problem ppl still have is that they keep putting Nin war with Sony & MS when in fact Nin left the power house & does whatever they want to do for their games so why does Sony or MS need to see what Nin does when they need to find their own way. Everytime Nin goes off in their path, both of them follow Nin & the talk about Nin is not seen as a competitor turns into bs & they look stupid because now they need to follow Nin.
Great take on Microsoft and why it is they’re doing exactly what they’re doing. Unfortunately for as much as us old console heads don’t like to hear it, the console market is stale and has seen 0 growth if not actually regressing for the last 2 gens or more. The writings on the wall which is why Nintendo went hybrid and are so successful. Just a home console in a box will not see growth and the numbers in the past.
Although that would keep us happy, investors and Companies aren’t interested in an endeavor that has no growth. They’re not in it to hit less highs they want more highs.
I also think that Sony and Microsoft can stick around, however they first need to be willing to own up to their mistakes and stop stubbornly doubling down. Nintendo got out of their own hole by not being afraid to admit that hey Wii U did'nt work and we admit that. And then they got to work fixing it instead of giving up, if Sony and Microsoft can do the same their just might be hope for them. But I'm not too confident that they have yet.
Microsoft will lose the console "war" to Playstation, but it'll outlive Sony simply by having Gamepass on PC. If Sony doesn't come up with something different other than better graphics and go all digital, people will start moving to PC.
@@mendozazone But even Gamepass isn't working for them, so the fact that they keep desperately trying to make it work is a very poor decision. As I said they like Sony are refusing to admit they made a mistake and until they do nothing is going to change.
@Cloud-dt6xb That's right now. If players switch to PC, Gamepass will be a lot more valuable, it'll compete with Steam. Maybe Sony will survive if they also make their own online store, but if not, only Nintendo will remain. They need to start doing something other than more resolution. The gap between generations are getting smaller. Games are still releasing on PS4 and it's 11 years old, because PS4 isstill good enough and cheaper.
Not just their A game but it really going come down to price and games. Because if Sony thinks they going to come out with ps6 for $700 or more they going to loss if Xbox keeps price down and what people want or their portable console might sale better then their console and that where the battle will be. 😅
I think that too .I think if sony do what they did to ps3 they’re gonna lose so bad they have to keep the prices down if they want to match with nintendo at least
Switch 2 could possibly outsell the Switch, but it will never climb to the success Nintendo had in the 7th generation of consoles, which is the peak of dedicated game hardware. The industry saw 510M units between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, with Nintendo holding just a hair over half the market with 256M units. PS3 and PSP sold about 170M and Microsoft XB360 sold just over 84M. Even if Switch 2 were to hit 200M with Switch 2, somehow the market would still be down from it's peak. Of course that is because of the raise of PC gaming, especially around the beginning of last decade, also Apple phones and Android's mobile gaming has increased the net at which the industry catches our attention... I do think Microsoft is in a safer position than Sony, while Sony has a strong loyal userbase, if that base were to fall away, Sony hasn't done enough to secure their place in the industry, meanwhile Microsoft's investment into gaming now goes well beyond Xbox, especially with Call of Duty selling like it does every year, which will now be found on Nintendo hardware for the first time in a decade. This next generation is due for a shake up, I could see Sony getting off to a slower start, Microsoft not focusing on consoles and Nintendo running away with it due to their early start and Switch 2 just being powerful enough to catch multiplatforms that Switch could not.
Valve seems to get it. I know oj hates the steamdeck. But Valve seems to get battery life is important. Etc... I think now that it's a proven Gaben will put out something better. The others I'm not so sure about. A lot of switch, steam deck like devices out and still coming out
It true they will have trouble because people are afraid of price especially since the ps5 pro $700 price point. So truth be told most people who play games also look at price. So if Xbox comes out with a new console in 2026 and it price right it might get second place unless Sony match that price and take a hit and make up on sales and good games that other don’t. So we already know Nintendo is taking number one spot and the only one left is second place to stay in the market. 😂😅
They always copy Nintendo from motion controls, game design now the switch hybrid and VR. Can't wait for Nintendo to release a proper VR machine it can launch with duck Hunt
Nintendo knows how gaming works and they are creative. They don’t have thieving online stuff and they aren’t new to this. They are humble geniuses and won’t have to worry like the others. They don’t spend fortunes on AAA titles and lose more money than they make also. Nintendo will be around for a very long time. The others I do worry about.
@AaHNN-34b4 the name is something I could actually care less about. It could be Super Switch but PlayerEssence already went over that in a previous video why they don’t want to confuse it with any old name. Xbox had an issue with that with people getting the ring system and what not. Nintendo has the OG Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED already so they need to name it something that sets it apart from those models. Whatever they do it won’t be confusing as they don’t want moms and dads and people getting older systems instead of getting whatever the next one will be called.
I'm going to be honest, xbox just need to hold everything until next generation. They have a chance to sell consoles if they go with the multi-pronged approach you mention, but coupled with some real games. No one expects anything anyways for the series line. Just keep them on Xbox or even gameplay, but drop a heavy hit at the start and they might have a chance to stay alive. Handheld/box/streaming box could be a nice approach.
Their alleged hybrid console is rumored to come out in 2028 or so, but at that point. I think Switch 2 will have already sold too well for Xbox to even catch up. And Game Pass is a double edge sword and suffers the opposite issue people have with Nintendo's "Anti piracy" shenanigans. It's a great deal, and popular enough for Microsoft, but the individual developers that make the games are actually suffering long run. Game Pass is ultimately the reason companies like Tango end up meeting their undeserved fates. Pentiment and Grounded ended up having skyrocket sales when they went multiplatform. And sure Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush got more popular via Playstation release, the latter still didn't do good enough in Microsoft's eyes. And maybe it would have if we got a Switch release. So far, Microsoft literally would be doing better as well as their developers if they went multiplatform. Because Game Pass does help Microsoft, but not so much the numerous smaller companies owned by it. And it's what is killing sales of Xbox exclusives. Likewise, multiplatform will get the sales going for the games, but it's also killing Xbox units. While I do think it might be worth releasing the new hybrid system, I do not expect Xbox exclusive to be a thing by some time in the next decade. Going from Wii U to Switch was a different story, since Nintendo is still the grand champion of innovation and legendary exclusives. Xbox is a pretty "Hardware is everything" type of marketing with little to no definitive exclusives. And it's not like anything they do is unique or innovative compared to Nintendo, and they'd essentially just be making Steam deck clones.
I domt think they are gonna struggle. Nintendo releasimg earlier than the others jus means it will be underpowered again and miss alot of the big games.... not that they need the big games when they have their own.
same with me but. if switch 2 gets all the third party support and it runs the games better/more optimized than pc ports, then maybe we dont have to rely on pc handhelds as much
Nintendo trying to save the industry once again
🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
its all up to nintendo, rockstar, and kojima this year to make a statement.
Strongly agree.
I've been saying this for year's. Xbox and Sony was NEVER gonna defeat Nintendo💁♂️
Nintendo will outlive all of them
It's already older than them
The next console will be the biggest war ground to see who stays and goes and becomes just a game company. 😅
Precisely, I think this is a reasonable insight
I need a legit Ocarina of Time remake, like with the most HD and up to date graphics.
Yes! I just beat it again this year for the first time in 21 years. It’s a masterpiece.
Brooo I want the Unreal Engine we see on UA-cam 😮💨
Turnbased games are thriving. Baldurs gate 3, Dragon Quest 11, Dragon Quest 3 Remake, Octopath games, the FF pixel remasters Persona games and Metaphor. Next year Clair Obscur, DQ 1 and 2 remake and hopefully FF9 remake and more.
I think Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will do just fine next gen
I'm favoured $130k every 4weeks! I now have a good house and can now afford anything and also support my family
I'm feeling really motivated.
Could you share some details about the bi-weekly topic you brought up?

Wow 😱 I know her too
Miss Claudia Ann Brandon is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
Big thanks to Ms Claudia Ann Brandon🙌🏽❤️✅✅
Her top notch guidance and expertise on digital market changed the game for me
Why would steam cannibalize their hardware sales for Xbox?

Indeed
Let's go Nintendo Switch 2 ❤
Nah, Nintendo Switch Expert is better or how about Nintendo Switch Wizard?😅

I have no interest in the ps5. The only use for me would be upgrading my ps4 games. I’m hyped for the new Nintendo.
Consoles don't have to sell over 100m to be successful
Yeah sure but helps

Im just waiting for switch 2 to be revealed already.
😒 Why is Link from Zelda in this thumbnail? It doesn’t have anything to do with the video, or does it?

I miss Sega. Good old days.

Make a video about Sony caught lying about their console sale numbers

That's why they should be creative with the next console name & don't use infamous "Switch 2" moniker
@AaHNN-34b4 the name is something I could actually care less about. It could be Super Switch but PlayerEssence already went over that in a previous video why they don’t want to confuse it with any old name.

Wouldn't buy an xbox if you gave me the money
If sony doesn’t get the prices down it will lost their loyal base as i am one we did bought xbox 360 for prices we will do it again if needed!
Watch all the predictions be wrong
Hello everyone
I domt think they are gonna struggle. Nintendo releasimg earlier than the others jus means it will be underpowered again and miss alot of the big games.... not that they need the big games when they have their own.
You must be delusional to think the Series S will get those games but the SW2 won't.
@igcreates2760 i didmt mention a series s. Im speakin abut later on....ps6/ next xbox w.e that is
Honestly, I can see myself only getting a switch 2 for exclusives and some variant of a handheld with a steam os for everything else.
same with me but. if switch 2 gets all the third party support and it runs the games better/more optimized than pc ports, then maybe we dont have to rely on pc handhelds as much
My game studio will be a Steam Exclusive until further notice
Wait what?
