I used to be ultra pro black, meaning believing that black men should only be with black women and visa versa. But as I navigate social media I’m becoming more and more SYSBM. Seeing how our women speak about us was staggering, but it’s what I needed to see because I was delusional. Staggering indeed when I came across this content I couldn't believe alot of our women had these opinions of us. I had no idea, divesting, dusty, we've been conquered by white men. Well i learned a lot today, and will continue to learn for when i hear women and men agreeing with trashing pur image i will make sure to pull up the stats on my phone and tell them to Google it for themselves, for the only way to heal our community is we have to check ourselves as men first and our women will either get with our program or get left behind.
I would like to see data on BMI 30+. BMI around 25 is a slim body and much more so if you are tall. Health concerns start after a BMI of 30 with class 2 and class 3 being the most severe. I’m super healthy and my BMI hovers around 29/30. I do have single digit body fat though. Even with low body fat we still have to be aware of how much weight is on our frame. You sir @MediumMan are most certainly over 30 BMI. Having a muscular body doesn’t exclude any of us from the dangers of too much weight.

IJS, the “conscious community” also dissed Byron Allen for marrying a white woman…and ignored the educational support for black youth that he financed out of his pocket. Byron Allen, for those who don’t know, is a former comic (he even had a TV show, I think) who has gone on to build a billion dollar fortune. At one point, he owned The Weather Channel (he still might)…
EDIT: Kevin Samuels (RIP) once said that HVM, across the board, tend to be race loyal in their selection of a wife. He also did not include athletes and entertainers in his definition of “high value men,” no matter how much money they made because they tend to not own the platform they’re earning on (the team, movie studio, record company, etc) most of the time.
