Now we have Google and Apple will follow suit with an even smaller 5.4 inch iphone. I would love to see cheaper and smaller phones next year. Just got my Pixel 4a the other day, put it to the test. 7:00AM yesterday morning, removed phone from charger at 100%, used it as how I would normally use my smartphone. Heptic feedback on (all), Dark mode off, 50% brightness, used to take some shots and videos at work (school trip, I'm a teacher), posted, browse on Facebook, IG, chat some friends, listen to some music on my way to work, after work and on my way back home and played some vids on YT. As I'm typing right now, "screen usage since full charge" is 5 hours and 52 minutes, it's 12:30AM right now and the battery still got 12% of juice. Yeah, the battery is great on this one!! Good job, Google!!❤️

3:35... the selfie cam is such a hard thing to get right. you want it wide enough to take a group selfie quickly and without a tripod, but with a narrow enough aperture to not look like a fish.
Adding used camera captions to the b rolls would help heaps my dude, it somehow feels confusing which footages are taken with the 4a (whichever phone in other reviews) over your main video camera. Great feature tho

Heads up, you should probably get a new mask! Yours has a filter (the round circular thing) that makes it easier to exhale. It doesn't filter that air going out, which puts ppl around you in danger (which is the opposite of what a mask is for)!

Great seeing the pic comparisons, as well as real world use. My previous 2 phones were the Nexus 6P and Pixel XL - One full day with the Pixel 4a and I am totally sold on the price (seriously, we're talking about HALF of what both previous phones went for), features and SIZE. I remember first getting my Nexus 6P and thinking what a large phone it was; definitely a bit unwieldy trying to use with one hand in many situations, and I've got large hands. Though the Pixel XL was a tad smaller & lighter, it essentially felt the same. The Pixel 4a is, literally, just right.
Google play services took way more battery than it is supposed too. See that's the problem, in starting days after the setup, Google play services always seems high. But gradually they drop to 1-2%. Or i'm being mistaken and the higher usage of Google play services here is due to GPS. But for me 7% is still a lot.
You should do a dual Real-World test with the Pixel 4a and 4a5g at the same time. Same start time, same pics, same videos etc... Show your usual comparison pictures and videos,. battery results. It would help people to decide which of the two to possibly get.
Great and enjoy your videeos but with photo comparison would be great if you can share which photo is closet to real scene in terms of color and details as it's difficult to gauge that front the video.
Pixel camera still reigns supreme. The S20 Ultra photos almost always look they lack dynamic range even compared to the iPhone SE. Plus it's colors are kinda off The OnePlus Nord photos are just bad compared to the pixel. It's no contest

What I’ve learned is if I wanted a phone, only for the camera, I’d get a 4XL. The problem is the rest of the hardware.
The lack of ultra wide the hardware is fine though Snapdragon 855
And the kinda small battery (compared to other flagships of the same price)
