What a nice friend to send you all those fantastic gifts. I know you will use and cherish them. Seems like your voice is improving so hang in there and you will be back to normal. Thanks for the videos on all those tractors/mowers. Thanks for all the videos.

Hello Zippo- Yes that red recoil from the box is a Tecumseh unit, very common in the 70s.
I sure hope your throat infection gets treated and cured quickly.
That cast-iron HH100 will outlast all of us! I just got a Chinese-repop adjustable carb for an HM/HH100 off EvilBay for around $14. It looks to be much nicer than the originals.

I've looked at a few and none are exactly like the one I removed, but they look close enough. I'm contemplating making a trip up North where I got the coil to grab a couple carburetors. I'd really much rather have an original on there if at all possible and a new OEM carb is near $100, so I'm not doing that for a tractor I'm just going to sell. I've got another HH100 in my 1969 Sears Craftsman Lawn Tractor that runs like a top. So if I can get a good original carb for a few bucks (possibly from the tractor that I got the coil from) I'll be a happy enough camper. Cheers! Zip~

It will pop off better if you give it the corn-tact prompting! Glad to see you out and about. Keep improving bro!

Hey Zippo, glad to see you doing your thing. I'm amazed you don't have something for a carb that will fit the Tec, even if it wasn't the right carb. 😂
Any idea how that main jet failed? that seems wild to see one break like that.
Maybe I just haven't seen enough.
But my guess would be water and aluminum corrosion?
    Cheers
    Sean

great gifts from paul ! i've had trouble with old (several years) silicone refusing to set up . might just be because my storage area gets really hot in summer . if that tube is old , test a little bit before using . it's a pain to have to clean it up , then apply new .

Yea, sorry about the gopro,, many people complain about them,,
Some people like the 8 because its small and simple, certain things they can do with those..
If you have one that doesn't mess up, its a keeper!
    Nioce stuff there!!
Wanna see the clutch setup!! Good info on that!
    Thanx,, be well!

Sweet ya got spark. I have 3 of those darn SSI modules and 2 are completely dead and the 3rd one has spark at idle but as soon as you crack the throttle open, more than a fast idle, it looses spark. Acts like a fouled spark plug but the plug is brand new. I even tried a slightly hotter spark plug and no difference. I'm not spending $200+ for another questionable used one when the tractor isn't worth much more than that.

I got lucky with this one from the bone yard. I picked up two, but don't know if the other one I got is operational or not. I may throw it on the HH100 just to see after I get a replacement carburetor. Once the engine is happy, it'll go back into this old Wheel Horse Raider Hydro I picked up last Summer and I'll be plus one 14hp Predator with electric start and what ever I get out of the Wheel Horse. It's got a plow blade and a good deck with new bearings (at $100 a pop) that the previous owner threw in Winter before last. Hate hearing the coils you've got aren't working properly. I can only imagine your frustration shelling out dough for duds. Zip~

Good thing that H10 has an electric start. Forgive me I have never owned a Go Pro. I am still low tech around here. All is good though

Zippo. have you done any solid state conversions to HEI electronics? For when your solid state quits? Like the Tecumseh HH100 engine . K
