- Do you buy one now? The Hemi V8 is on the way out. Thank you to Ciocca Car and Truck Country of Flemington for allowing the channel access to this vehicle for review.

October 2023 I bought a new Dodge Durango R/T Premium AWD and love it all the way. Your video reviews did help me lean towards buying this awesome SUV. Always wanted to buy a Hemi V8. But was unhappy with Dodge wrt the O/E Bridgestone Ecopia tires which are horrible (more like Summer like tires) ended up with bit of a fender bender during icy road/weather condition in December. So I got them replaced with Michelin CrossClimate2 tires... really great tires. Improves the overall driving experience on my Durango, even in wintery roads! 🙂
Maybe I missed it but the tow and go can tow up to 8700lbs.. same as the SRT and hellcat.. otherwise great video. I have a 22 tng… it’s epic towing my 5k boat. Coming from a 17 explorer sport… miles better for towing and driver feel. Dodge got it right!
This is such an awesome review 👍🏼
I just picked up my 2023 Durango Orange Package 3 days ago.
These things are phenomenal!!
Congrats! Enjoy it. Thanks so much for watching.
@@chabbysrides thank you, sir.
@user-zn4tq6ib6r Congrats!! I got the white knuckle. My first choice was red, but my 2020 Durango was Octane red and I didn't want to do the same color back-to-back even though Dodge changed the shade of red for their 2023 and 2024 lineup. This time around I wanted the Destroyer Gray but I couldn't find one anywhere in NYC or CT.
Enjoy your new joy, my friend.
Wish I could afford that Durango R/T. A red pin stripe down each side would make it pop. Like the flat bottom steering wheel. Wish I could have driven that beast with you. That car can haul butt! Loved the video! Thank you.
Thanks Martin. Fun SUV, but you need to splash the cash.
@@chabbysrides Easier said than done, but you are right!
Great review. Just one thing though, at around the 13 minute mark you said the buttons were for hooking up and unhooking the trailer. Those are actually to increase or decrease the following distance for the adaptive cruise control. This is a solid vehicle for the money, hope to upgrade to the HC some day.
I have just bought one 2024 without the tow and go package. I love the car I can’t stop driving it for fun. Wish that I went with either the 392 or hellcat just for my personal test specially that those engines might be the last batch manufactured.
on my mazda3 i cant tell ya how frustrating it was every time i had to lay my seats down i had to take the headrests off because the front seats would be back to accommodate average height passengers. upgrading to this for hauling large items is going to be a dream
I absolutely love mine
So basically it's a SRT Durango without the 6.4 Hemi and at this point around 20k cheaper even though this package is not cheap.
Got a 2024 in black with red interior & I love it
durangos are soo gorgeouss mann
Awesome Review!
Thanks Anthony. Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
It’s nice but an RT for 69K? No way😂😂
Might as well just get a 392.
That will add $20k. The prices have gone crazy.
awesome man,fantastic
Thanks! Thank you for tuning in.
thank you it was very interesting 🫡
Great Review
Thanks! Thank you for tuning in.
I just ordered a 2024 R/T Plus. Tow n Go and Blacktop packages.
Does anyone know the difference between the Premium and the Plus???? Im looking at my order sheet and it lists all the exact things, that this guy mentioned in his Premium one.
premium you get the harman kardon sound system
@@ryan90b Well my RT plus has the 800+ watt Harman/ Kardon amp and 19 speakers.
I'm wondering the same thing lol . I'm looking for my next vehicle and i went on Dodge to build a Durango and the R/T Plus looks like it has more than the Premium or the same things. I'm confused.
I got a used low mile SRT Durango for way less than that.
Awesome review
Thanks! Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
Overpriced I’d say it’s worth $55k OTD
Last call for the Hemi this year.
You have to put premium gas in these things? 😳😳😳
The RT can take 89.
You can safely run regular 87 in it but manual suggests 89 for best performance.
I run my with 89. Its a 21 Durango RT
I run 87 just fine.
Higher octane is for those that want to squeeze every last hp out of the engine.
Way overpriced!
All cars are overpriced in the current market. If anything I’d say the R/T with the Tow n Go package is among the best bang for your buck out there. The 5.7 Hemi V8 is one of the most reliable and the interior trim is anything but cheap. What would you say is a better, comparable vehicle at a better price point? Genuine question because I’m literally 2 weeks away from buying an R/T with TnG and I’ve done as much research as I feel I can. If you can help, I’m all ears! Thanks!
@@richosborne2154for low $70,000 you can get the one and only SRT and have your cake and eat it to with the 6.4L and it is night and day difference driving experience…..apples to oranges. We started with the RT and we’re shocked how much better the SRT is.
@@richosborne2154I love mine I'd do it Dodge Durango RT 2023 Hemi for the win
69K and it still doesn't have the blackout package!
For $62,000usd i just ordered a 2024 R/T Plus -Tow n Go and Blacktop ..with EVERY option but the upgraded Laguna Leather SRT seats and video screens in the head rests. Some packages are cheaper in Canada than the States for some reason.
I also thought the rating was 8700lbs?
