I love my 2023 dodge Durango hellcat. And this is someone coming from Mercedes and Range Rovers over the last 20 years. It’s a lot of fun.
We’ll it’s nice to know you finally upgraded to a Dodge 💥💥💥
Durango RT looks good for a suv and it's got a v8 engine love it
With the sound of that Hemi, I'm glad the review ran a little longer! The sound!!!!!!!
I Love your videos!! Keep up the good work, love knowing about cars and your explanations are on point.
I just bought a Durango hellcat I had the RT previously! We love the Durango because of its towing capabilities! And it’s great in the snow with proper snow tires.
Insane Dodge Ben !! ❤❤
The R/T tow n go is a fantastic package. I’ve considered picking up this trim to daily so my DDHC can retire to being a garage queen.
I have a 23tow n go I absolutely love it man such a great car I like to say this package gives it soul this should be standard for R/Ts highly recommend this over regular if you can’t get an SRT like me
I bought my wife a 2015 Durango Citadel pretty loaded with a Hemi. She loves it!
Nice review!
I just wanted to mention that I noticed the tail lamp module on the trunk is misaligned from the rest of the tail lamps on the pillars of the vehicles. This is most visible at 2:14.
This is not exclusive to only the Tow N Go trim, and I first saw this on the Citadel trim level in pictures on the internet.
Just wanted to let you know.
Supercool Ben, V8 Dodge did it man.
Sounds awesome!
Love this video. My husband and I were just looking at Dodge Durango R/T yesterday. We also drove a new grand highlander. God, I just keep coming back to the Durango. There is just something about that v8. I grew around muscle cars, jets, and planes. I just love that sound.
I don’t want to be the same soccer mom driving another Kia or Toyota. Unfortunately, fuel economy and job commuting is something I have to think about so we may not be getting the Durango but man it’s fun to drive.
Just get the Durango. This is America. We like large engines
Remember you could die any day. Enjoy it while you can. And most people don’t regret the things they did, but the things they didn’t do. Get that hemi.
get the durango‼️ i have a 23 rt n its so fun to drive. youll stand out as a soccer mom for sure👀😁
I have BORLA exhaust system on my 19' Laramie, and the 5.7 is easily the best sounding V8 available today. IMO
LOVE IT! SOLD LOL I'm keeping my 23 RAM!!!
I love Durango♥️ since I was a little girl it was my dream car 😅 I am so happy I was able to fulfill that dream
Ordering a 2024 RT Plus next Saturday and pretty sure im going with every option, including stripes and SRT seats. Plus the Blacktop Package.
If you could pull the trigger for the 6.4 you won’t regret it!
@@lh32186 Been driving a 3.5L Magnum for last 15 years straight. This will be like a SRT for me.
Plus....premium gas in Canada is taxed to F......and is very expensive.
My yearly fishing trip (40 hours roubd trip of driving) would cost me $1250.00 in fuel alone.
I'll be 55 soon. That Hemi will suffice me just fine. 👍
Congrats. Mopar or no car
I bought a '23 Grand Wagoneer III primarily due to the color combinations available to me (though also some luxury features on the GW did catch my eye). However, I do miss the sound coming from the Durango I owned just prior to...and nearly purchased the limited Mopar Ed of the Durango...I think last year, but again, available options (I don't want a black or red interior for starters). The sound from the GW is nice, for sure, but not the same category.
HOLYYYYYY W VIDEO
Any differences at all from the 23?
1:15 Why didn’t the durango RTs get the 345 badges like the 2023 chargers and and challengers RTs?
The rear wheel drive set up vs fwd based design has as much to do with it as the v8. It will cream say a Honda Ridgeline towing even in the V6 form.. Minivan's all have transversely mounted engines along with most of their crossover cousins.
I have a 2021 Tow N Go with only 10,000 miles on it and I can NEVER leave stuff alone and modifying the hell out of it. Mine has nice LED fog lights - wonder why they stopped installing fog lights....? My latest mod happened just yesterday with Eibach lowering springs, I'll have a video soon on my channel. Next mod is the newly released Magnuson supercharger and AFE shorty headers! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
We need a Viper Durango with the V10.
Viperango
@@wallbangerzsports Baaaarz!
@@wallbangerzsports reading it and saying it out loud sounds stupid lol
Would buy!
24s no fogs or mirror directionals? They started this for 23s at least on the T-N-G Hemi Orange now I see they are deleting all together!!
I test drove one and liked it, but a bit too pricey for me...
If only my explorer sport had a longitudinal engine like these durangos do the competition would of been alot closer.
Was considering this vehicle. Sounds great. Not as fast as it sounds though! Best towing even compared to full size SUVs above it's class. Still feels a bit too overpriced for what it is. Better tech would make it a bit more justified.
Its a 3 row suv with a v8 and heated and ventilated alcantara seats with a heated 2nd row and a huge ass screen for 60 grand.
That steering wheel has 3 blank buttons. Just to remind that the car doesn't come with adaptive cruise control. Dodge cheaping out.
I like these and considered one when shopping for a SUV. However the well known Hemi lifter / idling issues and the price led me to a new 2023 Toyota TRD Off Road Premium. I wanted something that would last 20 years. I don’t see this lasting 400K plus miles .
You would keep a car that Long
BEN!! You skipped over the plug in port for the second row under the USBs! 2:56
The built in power inverter is very nice and gets a ton of use in ours especially on 1000+ mile road trips.
A sorento is a lot cheaper, same performance with more tech (namely assisted driving)
Do yourself a favor - go rent one for a weekend
You'll forget it being a SUV the first time you go manual
There Heni raps off at the exhaust for that sound 😅😮
Does it have cylinder deactivation and awful annoying stop/start?
Yes
I have a 22 R/T Tow and Go, and No stop start.
I put my money where my mouth is Mr.Hardy. My daily is a QX80, my weekend is a RCF, my motorcycle is a VMAX1700 V4.
A few years ago this nearly exact same machine would retail for low 40s….almost bought one but now this same one with out the stow and go would still go in the 60s….not even a “new” Durango….insane
Thanks Joe Biden
Yo my boy, you look like a viking😂
Linda will never understand 😂 hemi power
I thought her name was Karen, not Linda...
Is the dodge durango the final hellcat
Yes
I'm cool with my 2015 Ford Expedition XLT..it might not have the sound of the Durango RT but as far as performance goes the XLT might just give that RT a run for it's money
I wonder how these would look with a 3" lift
It's like a time capsule😂 still a nice SUV. I just don't see someone buying it over the new tech SUVs that have come out. Especially for the price
The new tech stuff sucks balls. I don't want it. It's completely unnecessary. Who wants to stare at screens all day?
What new tech would make the Durango “modern”?
@@S8ER Yep exactly. It has everything you need, and more, already. (wouldn't mind an option for a full Pano roof, but that's not tech, that's mechanical engineering.)
@@wallbangerzsports yeah I mean I could see having wish list items. Personally I have the sunroof and for me it’s one item I just wish hadn’t bothered with since I rarely bother with it.
It's the last old school from Stellantis as is the 4runner from Toyota, difference is the 4runner will last ten times longer for half the cost as well as being almost twenty thousand dollars less. One in South central NJ is 10% off MSRP, down to $62,500 or so.
This is much larger and more spacious than a cramped 4Runner
4runner gets less mpg despite having a 4 liter V6 and 2400 lbs less towing capacity.
@@evildrizzt1
Don’t bring up details…….
“But Toyota………!,!!!”
Yeah but you don’t look as cool in a 4Runner 😁
I wish there were more hybrid V8s
Winger!!!
I don´t know really what to do with my sad life I live in a place where there is no opportunities, there´s no job, there´s no ways to gain the life, right now, I have no job, I have no money, I´m feel frustrated, boring, tired, disappointed of everything, really I don´t know what way to follow, anyway all here is a mess and confused, the money is not enough for anything and I don´t know where we will go. this is enough to sit down and cry.
Stay positive bro you won’t be stuck like that forever
Escalade v does
Not sure what this comment was addressing specifically but the Escalade is a full size/body on frame SUV so not really a competitor to the midsize Durango.
Don't tow whit that garbage it will cost you more than 8k to repair ....
No 360 camera no panorama roof no auto pilot 🤷🏻♂️
I would be shocked if that’s really a deal breaker for anyone. 😂
No rattly-ass 4 cylinder, either!
Dude… stop talking so fast
