My 430 is straight piped. It's loud and sounds great. I love my car. Handles great. Quick enough for a 23 year old car. But they are not super fast. And neither is this one. Just sounds fast. That's too much noise for as long is it takes to catch up the car in the fast lane whick is probably doing no more than 80. I am not knocking this video because I love this car. But no reason to tell anyone to, " hang on."
It had a 2.5" straight pipe from the engine back, then a 3" y pipe and single exit out the back. The y pipe was put were the resonator was. Stock tune although I always wanted to get the RaceIQ tune. Ended up selling the car first, but I'm on the search for a 55 AMG next 😁
So odd how different the interiors are for the clks, this 430 has the same exact interior as my clk 55 amg from 2002, but then I see 430s or 320s that have similar interiors to older 430s or 320s, I personally dislike how Mercedes used the same chassis and interior for the clk 55 amg but it is what it is

its manual mode, clk has that in their automatic gearboxes. if you nudge the shifter to the right it changes gear

Funky ass transmissions, I swear i hate what merc did to these automatic transmissions, it's screaming for a manual swap asap!
The transmissions are fine, they just didn't give you nearly enough manual control. All the 4321 serves as is a gear hold
722.6 is a super reliable transmission! Throw on a shit kit by trans go and boom it's like a dual clutch

The car has 5g shiftronic. Basically you have Drive but also +/- shift if you push the shifter left or right while in drive
What else did you add

what is he doing with that gearshift?
This car has the 722.6 it's a 5 speed auto transmission with shift-tronic. Basically allowing you to manually select any gear 1-5.
I don’t like the speed of shifting gears on this gearbox 722.6, should have been engineered to be able to shift faster when needed
This dude cut traction control off why tho they make like 220 whp if that
ESP is very invasive
They make 275, 291 if it has the AMG package equipped
