I feel like I'm on the lucky ones because the first five years of my life I would have violent seizures until they removed my tonsils...
I never heard of seizures stopping when tonsils were removed. I'm happy though that you are no longer having seizures and are doing better.
From what I researched not all children and adults outgrow epilepsy it's frustrating to see something like this happen to some people I have epilepsy UpTo This day and I can tell I'm going to be one of them who doesn't get rid of it😣😣😔
Not all children outgrow epilepsy. My neurologist as a child told my parents I would and when I didn't it caused a lot of anger. It is very frustrating to be one of the people not to outgrow it. I still struggle with it at times myself, especially now that as I get older, my memory is getting worse. Stay strong and if you need to talk or have any questions, you can email me at info@defeatingepilepsy.org.
