Farm stands to quite well with Glads. So look at adding those to your future plans. We have some peonies that have been with the family since the 1800s.
I think these flowers are Martha Stewart’s favorite also, so you are in classy company. I bet she doesn’t get down on her hands and knees to plant like you do though. I admire your work ethic.
I really like Tulips, but they do not do so well in North Georgia. Daffodils we have in abundance and they're beautiful in early spring. Never had Peonies, but may have to try ...they look very nice! Good luck!
I asked for daffodil bulbs for Sweetest Day. It's nice being the first kid on the block with flowers or color in their gardens - after those, gray, gray, gray Michigan winters. I heard the bunnies & squirrels don't mess with them like tulip bulbs. And get some mini daffodil bulbs. Those are so cute! Or interplant the daffodils with the peonies. I like my daffodils together in groups of 5. I like planting them remotely as well. It's nice having a splash of color pop up amongst the early grayish dull landscape.
Peonies are great! Mine grow anywhere. Are beautiful in the Spring. So Fragrant!!! They make a hearty dark green shrub in the summer. Outside a little weeding, maintenance free. I wish I could interplant with mums. Opposite end of the season, Fall. But Fragrant too. I don't have any luck planting the storebought ones in my gardens. You could just do landscaping fabric and wood chips after they get established. Throw in some white ones and dark purple ones for variety.
I recently started working at a farm on Long Island. I love it!..I’m exhausted…I love it!…It’s hardcore but also a lot of fun. Great video! PS I tell everyone to watch your channel it’s amazing💯
A great investment! I wish I lived in a climate able to support peonies and dahlias. I tried for two years to grow dahlias in Southeast Louisiana, and I wasted a lot of time and money because it is just too hot here. No way peonies will grow in our zone. Wishing you the best of luck!! I will be watching with envy in the Spring!! 💕
I just have to tell you THANK YOU for sending me down a rabbit hole of fermented foods! It started with your video about fermenting tomatoes out of the garden, and I liked them so much I decided to look up more videos on fermenting and found the channel Clean Food Living. I am now fermenting everything in sight, and I can't thank you enough for putting that out there. Mine and my familys gut thank you!
@brianczuhai8909 I'm not using vinegar brimes either. Just good ol' pink Himalayan salt! Right now, I am fermenting cabbage and ginger, and asian cabbage, one big one of multi color cauliflower, apples (to make apple vinegar) fire cider, tomatoes, and kombucha fermenting. What else should I do? Oh, and I fermented flour to make these delicious sugar-free apple muffins! I'm hooked on fermenting, lol
This will be a beautiful driveway. Please make sure that your animals do not reach the peonies, they are poisonous. I once lost a sheep because she ate a peony
These will be beautiful when they get established in a couple years

I ONLY ferment Pickles. No Vinegar brines. I love it each time. SO easy. Try Suar Kraut. It's easy too.

We have around 20 Peonies in our yard. Wife loves them. One thing we do is add slow release fertilizer in the hole when planting.
An like always you got good information thanks😊
Another great video. Thank you. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving.
Planting perennials is money in the Bank, my mom use to say.😁
Luv u 😊 weird question but I have the same kinda hair as you. What do you use?

Will the cows be able to reach over and eat the Peonies?.
Nope! They can’t get over the fence
