@@ogAdoptedfatty no it's not, the backing track is almost the same. The vocals do change a lot but it's obviously a different version of this theme which makes sense as he is also a cleric beast same as Amelia.

if im not mistaken, most of the souls games music (at least it was for DS1) revolves around a main theme and build up from there

Why hasn't FromSoft released a making of Bloodborne focused on the music? Or better yet, why haven't the orchestra made a world-wide tour? I'd buy the tickets in a heartbeat.
Fromsoft didn't produce the music they just develop games sony has provide all the music of bloodbornr produce it with their own music studio and release it as a soundtrack of the game. Ask sony since they have their own orchestra too.

They have recordings in their other games, but it's mostly choir/vocal work. Instruments are digitally produced in house by Yuka Kitamura and Nobuyoshi Suzuki (among others), and assisted by various freelance musicians
@@Frazerfelix Elden Ring did have the Budapest Film Orchestra work on it. But yeah its usually samples like Dark Souls 3, with strings from Kitamura and some vocalists from Tokyo Philharmonic Chorus.

The audible difference between Bloodborne’s soundtrack and every other FS OST is insane. They recorded these tracks in an ACTUAL CATHEDRAL with ACTUAL CHOIRS singing ACTUAL LATIN. It makes such a difference. The resonance in these tracks is insane. You can hear the presence of a looming cathedral in every single track, which is appropriate when the majority of the game takes place in gothic cathedrals.
They really went the extra mile with this OST in particular and imo nothing has beat it since. It’s just so intentionally immersive in its sound in a way no other OST is.

The BB soundtrack is perfection. Never in a game has the sound been so perfectly nailed - the horror, the dread, the insanity. This soundtrack may be my favourite of all time.

Initially I had no clue what Bloodborne was. I wasn’t following it and had never been exposed to any of the souls series prior. When I saw this video I was so enthralled by the music that I became so hyped to play the game, simply for the music. Needless to say I bought the game day one and it has become one of my favorite games of all time. It also caused me to check out the other games in the series and the rest is history. I will always have fond memories of beginning bloodborne and having my interest piqued simply because of a short video of such incredible music. Love it!

I have to say I love
the dark souls series, but Bloodborne is simply on another level. It is truly Miyazaki's master piece, and I am quite saddened for it will never get the full appreciation it deserves simply because it's a ps4 exclusive. I particularly enjoy it for it's story, how it mirrors us humans in our lust for power and knowledge, and the horrors that lurk within man's mind.

Crow I love Bloodborne but Dark Souls 1 is simply the greatest game of all time imo. There is so much more replay value and the world is put together so well that it never gets boring. I think Bloodborne and Dark Souls are definitely both masterpieces though.
