every time I listen to this wonderful mashup reminds me about bloodborne, in its entirety. I think that the base that is present in these two osts represent at its peak the victorian nightmarish atmosphere that personally I think still today is unsurpassed and probably never will. It reminds me of the first boss that most of the players encounters, and, in opposite to the mergo's lullaby (melodical sign of the inhuman eldritch truth that also i love) this theme is a sort of mirror of the beastly horror and a anthem of the nerverding and cursed hunt. Also reminds me of the cause of yarnham's fall and the tragedy behind laurence's history. God I love this game I wish sony will make a remastered or a pc version.
I don't think Laurence has any prime, it's not like he was once a mighty warrior or a fearsome beast, but then decayed into the beast that now he is. He simply became trapped in the Hunters Nightmare because of his sins related to the fishing hamlet, and became a beast as a punishment for it or due to being drunk in blood, being what he is now, a mere beast, ever burning for his other actions (probably related to the burning of old yharnam), being that what truly makes him different from the other cleric beast, he's stronger than it mostly thanks to the fire he's in. But I do agree that if there was a way for him to be stronger, this theme would be fitting.
@@X6Shiroi9Xthink he means Laurence is his prime as in his human prime. When he was pretty much the leader of all of yharnam, a figure whose influence extended to pretty much the entirety of the area, the old blood in his hands, ebrietas captured, experiments regarding the great ones going on in full vigour. Also, it's not unreasonable to assume Laurence was not a hunter as well as a scholar. He seems to have a big hand in the raid of Fishing Hamlet (Mother of Kos seems to hold a particular hatred for him, she is the one who cursed him to burn for eternity.) I suppose his prime would mean him being at the peak of his life, both as a scholar and as a potential hunter.
Very very good work and I’m genuinely impressed but I have some notes tho.. like at the beginning, 0:49 to 1:09 is not needed you could have just skipped this part and tried to mesh both build ups together. Here as well at 1:50 you could have went straight for the “Honesta rete sanguinem” at 2:30 and continued from there. Overall as well you could have sped up the cleric beast intense parts a bit for it to match the speed of Laurence. There are a few glitched moments like 5:16. Overall tho I’m honestly surprised someone even thought of mixing the two yeah this was an interesting video. Thanks bro❤️
