I put a mic boom pop filter over the mic on this headset and it sounds so crisp and clear afterwards. Highly recommend on any gaming headset actually

informative video i subscibed! im buying a new headset but I'm torn between this one and steelseries 7p. Im leaning towards the 7p but doing more research first. I do have to say coming from the sony plats and the Astro A50's im bothered by TB 700 gen2 and the Steel series 7P not having dials or buttons for chat /game audio.
Yeah we feel you bro. That hurts losing that figure. Between the 700s and 7p tho, honestly, you will not go wrong with either headset. If you want that competitive edge, 7p all day. Or if you just want all around great sound and don't care about the "extra" stuff, TB 700s all day
@@DTTechTwins I'm so torn as well bc I do want the competitive edge but I don't know if I can lose that Bluetooth connectivity from playing music on my phone. Also the dual scrolls on the 700s for chat vs game audio is huge. I really don't know man. Gonna watch the updated comparisons now.

Has directional audio for fps games improved on these since release? I remember that was a pretty big con from some reviews I saw back in the day. Wondering if people found some EQ settings or a firmware update that made it good for fps games.
I just got a new transmitter cuz I broke my old one and I only have used it on my ps4 now I have a five and the new transmitter in the mail but I hear noting but static noting else

I'm having issues with a echo when some guns shoot in certain games like DayZ bc they are so loud that it echos from my headset to microphone and I dont know how to fix it. Am I able to turn the mic monitoring all the way up to fix that issue and if so could you tell me/show me
@@dekxredbull8699 Your Mic Monitoring maybe the issue. While your mic is unmuted, scroll your monitor wheel all the way down (the second wheel on your left ear cup)
My headphones work fine for the xbox. I got a new PC and the headphones have to be within about 2 feet from the pc or it loses connection. Anyone know what the problem may be

Is there anyway to fix the turtle beach stealth 600 g2 static noise on ps5? Software update made it quieter but it’s still there. Or am I better off upgrading to the 700?
I have experience with the 600s, but you may be better off with the 700s bro. Are you still having issues?
@@DTTechTwins returned the 600’s and got the 700’s. Can confirm sooo much better, no static noise and just 1000x better than the 600

I bought these yesterday, tried to update the firmware and it just kept saying device error and to disconnect the device and try again, I tried it like 20 times and it wouldn't work, when I tried using them on my ps5 it was like I was hearing myself in the mic and nothing but static. Any tips?

They may not be updated. you would have the download the software on your computer or labtop to update the headset. link to the software is in the description

Hey man I have a big question its more of a problem but is there a way of separating the game volume from the chat volume?
Its getting really annoying having to talk over my game audio and trying to understand my friends
Mmmm... the only thing you can do bro is adjusting your Game/Chat rocker in your party settings on your console.
If you're on Playstation, hold down the playstation button in the middle of the controller and go to sound/devices. Then just turn turn it from "All Audio" to "Chat Audio". That seems to work for me.
My headset is staying at v2.0.3. I have the annoying static in my hear, I can’t hear my game sound or nothing.
It’s like a speaker going off every other sec.
The headset should be on v2.0.6. Sorry your going thru that tho bro. All I can think of is to try and plug both your transmitter and headset to the app on your computer or labtop and hit "restore" to see what happens. Should reset the headset, plus it needs that update

Only thing I can think of bro is connecting the transmitter and headset to the Turtle Beach software on your computer or laptop and hitting "restore". That may work

@@jowel223s Download the software on your computer or laptop, plug in your transmitter and headset, then it will let you know if the headset needs an update. Transmitter should be on Verison 1.1.5 and the Headset should be on 2.0.6

Super weird. Mmmm... Dumb question bro: Was the headset on low battery before you plugged it up to update? It may need to be charged
Last time i used it it said battery level was medium im charging now hopefully that helps

This headset sucks dont buy it. My wheel keeps beeping when i adjust chat volume, the headset will turn off for no reason unexpectedly sometimes. Audio hub doesnt work. This headset is updated and sucks
