Nice video. Just another add on. When you get on the dock(assuming you agree to pay the 4000 for the kayak now). Go max depth. 6/0 hook with Large Cutbait or Whole Crawfish, max depth. Hit f11 and just face the boat and toss it in the water at the boat or to the right corner of the dock. It will only go 21 feet so when you hook one, you won't have to battle with it. I was just in a full room of 10 and I caught 5(2 Trophy and 3 Regular) in a row on the board.
an little upgrade: the first pike spot works still today and still today the pike is the most valued fish in the game, maybe after the new brazil dlc, the bull-shark might be the new best credited fish, but i don´t have that experience now. upgrade to catfish, that small ponton still exists, but you only reach it by boat today, otherwise the spot also works today oh next time bro, tighten up that break^^ so the fish has to fight to get some line^^
thanks for these guides, they have helped a lot. sadly, looked up so many to where I was having to go by newest since this is an early access game so things get changed I'm sure every update. for those wanting to catch the pike and such from this video, I definitely recommend using at least a 20Lbs setup or you may lose the bigger fish, seems like the pike area he shows behind the cat tails you'll catch a trophy or unique almost every other cast kind of thing which what he shows. haven't tried the other area's he shows since I haven't gotten better gear to do so.

Kinda bummed that your guide didn't include what you used for gear. Typically, when you unlock a place, the gear that's available to you isn't up to the task. I wonder what a good level might be to actually be successful here. In the video, you're at level 36 which is a far cry from 30.
@@D43MON4 the pike spot still works but sometimes I skip an hour or two for them to respawn. The muskies at the muskie spot are gone. The blue cat is still decent so you can still do it. Same setup Fenix with 5/0 or 6/0 hooks and shiners. Don't forget to use a titanium leader, or they'll bite through the line.
The Internet Tough Guy that's disappointing for about 200 pounds without premium I get between 17k and 18k fishing walleye in New York so about a 3k entry fee and a lot more profit plus cheaper bait that you can buy in trip all you need is minnows and a glow worm
Damn man most videos on fishing planet guides have worked on your channel. But playing it now at the prime time of the day i havent caught a single giant blue catfish with your method. Plus the action on pike is no where near that. I guess the update changed shit :(
This likely doesn't work anymore as the game is always changing locations, & depths the fish are at etc. Just like in real life you never know where you're gonna catch the big 1 lol. I wish fishing was this easy.

Just moved here at level 30 on ps4 from the Everglades. Hopefully it still works well.

bass are the money fish pretty much anywhere they pay the best for the lbs per dollar
walleye pay more per lb then bass. Anyways it all comes down to how much you can make per hour after day/license fees and travel.

skvakagud If you're trying to catch pike the best way is to use a float set up 5/0 hook with shiners leader set at 20 inches

Will the pike bite on small minnows as well as they do on the shiners? Not trying to be a cheapskate, but the wallet gets a wee bit thin sometimes.
They do, I just haven't caught one bigger than 10lbs with small minnows.
Also how far do u go throw out for the pike
