Major Intersection Boiling With Trout! Hopedale Update

- Going out in this heat makes you feel like you almost deserve to find fish. Doesn't always happen, but this has been the story for me pretty much all summer. Bounce around finding a fish here and there, and then run into a pile of birds diving on shrimp with a Speckled Trout feeding frenzy underneath. In this episode, I found the mother load in Hopedale at a major intersection that dozens of boats pass through every day. All these Trout were caught on a 3/8 or 1/4 oz jighead with a swimtail. Best colors were Avacado and Pearl. Redfish were caught on a Texas rigged purple craw. All most time hang up the reds and start tagging trout again , there’s shrimp everywhere in the marsh right now , gonna be a early trout season this year , looking good so far , thanks for sharing your video

Looks like you and de Produce Man fished same area. Gonna shift gears towards doves and teal and possibly wet a line tomorrow. Always good to see nice fish starting to show up.

@@Jar_Fishing you and AJ do fish a lot of the same areas and that’s wat I like about u bud, u don’t really hide the areas ur catching them I mean u may have some of ur honey holes that are kinda private but overall u usually let people know where they at! Tight lines brother!

Lots of good catching but unlike most of your videos, not much on what you were using or how your were working it (although many strikes seemed early in the retrieve). Really appreciate most all of your videos, particularly the ones with tips and guidance.
Thanks John. You’re right I did forget to talk about my setup very much. I was using same exact setup as the video just before. I went through a few lures earlier in the trip, but the bulk of the action at the intersection was all on 1/4 oz jig head, Avacado Matrix Shad, 15lb Fluoro leader, 30lb braid main line, 7’ Medium rod.
