Fantastic! Sp rare that someone is showing safe and practical excercises for hip replacement 👏👏👏 I have been lookong for such workout for many months to help my friend who had a replacement porcedure. Mostly appreciated! 🙌🌹🌹
I'm 69 not and had my hip replacements 16 and 13 years ago and no problems with them since then. The last few years I was a bit lazy about sports , before I also used to do Pilates among other things. Now I somehow had the feeling that I should start again with something and came across this wunderfull video. It all looked so easy.....But it turned out that my powerhouse was completely gone, just like the strength in my legs. But I'm working on it, and climbing stairs got already much easier after just 1 week of training! Thank you very much for this very helpfull video!
Finally I am allowed to do this fantastic workout, Rachel. It is just wonderful.I have tried to copy your link onto a thread on a Hip fb group but I failed miserably and just don t understand , sadly, how to do it. And at present no young people about to show me. I so wanted to share this with the group onto a thread . Thank you again for your hard work ❤
A week ago I have had a THR. As Im always looking what you offer, Rachel, I can’t believe the coincidence to find this perfect video today! I suppose I will have to wait for a few weeks sadly before I can do these suitable exercises?Far too long. You have said something like after the check up? I wish I could do these exercises now.Your videos and work you do are brilliant. Happily , you have popped up on my TikTok also . Thank you
Oh wow! What a coincidence Monika. This one will be perfect for you once your surgeon/ physio says you're ok to start doing it. The exercises are all based in therapeutic rehabilitation and I have used them on other people in person who've had a THR but as I don't know you I always recommend to get the go ahead from your medical expert before you start. Why not show this workout to them? If they see what it contains then they can decide when they think you're ready to begin it. Let me know how you get on. Much love, Rachel ❤️
I have not had hip replacement, but this was an awesome video. If I walk too much, the park between my torso and my left leg hurts and it’s very tight and when sit crossed legged the left leg doesn’t go down as far as the right. I also feel pain in my upper waistband area on the left side too. Years ago I fell in the parking lot flat on my back carrying skis across to the ski center and I wonder if this had something to do with it. I highly recommend this video, even if you’ve not had hip replacement, but just very tight area in your hip
I am so looking forward to doing this video. I had my 2nd hip replacement 10 weeks ago. I am desperate to get back to doing your pilates videos, but I have to wait until I am 12 weeks post op. I used to do them 4/5 times a week before the op. Thank you.
You'll be back in no time, just 2 weeks to go and this one will be a good one to start with. With all the exercise you did pre op you have prepared your body brilliantly for that procedure so keep up the physio and join me in 2 weeks! This is ideal for you ❤️🤗
I had a bilateral THR but the second leg which is just 6 months after the surgery have been battling with pain especially when i want to stood up after i got sitted
I can’t do that move because I had hip replacement on the left side, but my right knee has to be replaced if I swing my left knee out hip out excuse me my right knee won’t support me so what is an alternative move if anybody has any ideas? Please message me.

Tks I had a few hip surgeries and this exercises helped me a lot.
This is wonderful, Rachael. I like it for my hip osteoporosis too because it’s gentle and not strenuous.
Ah excellent, yes. I am really pleased to hear that Judith. One to do regularly for you 🤗

I haven't had a hip replacement but did this anyway without holding on and I found it good for my back problem. Thanks Rachel.🤗
Wonderful! And yes Pilates is so good for all those niggly problems 🤗
