BRONCO APPRECIATION YESSS THANK YOU...... I was thinking about the whole betrayal thing recently, Simeon please why couldn't you understand that Bronco was forced to do this..... Why couldn't you talk it out and bond over the fact that both of your dads were complete assholes and heal from that trauma together...... Their relationship is so strange and tragic it fascinates me
Because Simon got his memories jumbled up. Remember that in the confrontation with him at the end of the game, he mistakenly thinks that Knightley’s dad was actually his dad, and that his dad was Knightley’s. I wish he found out the truth sooner, then he wouldn’t have become the terrible person he turned into. (At least he’s a really good antagonist. Kinda similar to Graydon from TGAA now that I think about it)
@@catalyst539 Hmmmm you're right, but Simon still remembered Horace tying him up while crying and apologizing so he could have..... idk guessed there was more to this than he thought....... and talked about it in the hope of reviving Knightley's memories...... But yeah i guess he really just assumed Horace was really complicit in his father's death, couldn't be redeemed and. never addressed the matter to his friend for many many years urgh that's why i can't understand this guy i couldn't just live with something like this for that long and pretend everything is fine! but yeah just. very cruel chain of event with the amnesia only complicating the matter aaaah....... (Yes!! Graydon is great too we love some good ✨tragic circumstances✨)
I once heard someone describe investigations 2 as "the only ace attorney game without filler" and while I haven't played all of them yet, I can say I'm amazed at just how well the cases connect to one another! Even though Knight's appearance in the game is so short lived he remains an important figure in the story right up to the very end! If ace attorney 3 wasn't my favorite work of fiction investigations 2 would absolutely be my favorite ace attorney game.
epic video. will await oh so patiently for your thoughts on simeon. the thing about the blame is so fun to think about! i think about bronco and simeon's stupid fucking tragedy so much,, i think part of it is simeon not really having anyone else to blame for it. he waited for a dad he thought was alive for years at the orphanage and when thinking about everything he'd lost, since he didn't remember bronco's father or his own clearly, the only person near his memories that was left was bronco. it was always misplaced resentment. and bronco genuinely caring about him and thinking about him as his friend for so many years must have made it all the more upsetting. i think there were a lot of Feelings and Baggage towards him that he didn't have towards laguarde or excelsius. blaming him didn't have to make sense! they have cursed my brain and plagued my thoughts
I prefer Bronco Knight actually because Bronco's an untamed wild horse and that fits better than just "Horse". I like that it's more on the nose like that.
@@FieryAnubis Being on the nose is a bad thing when it comes to pun names though. Just look at Spirit of Justice. I’d say you’re right for the wrong reasons, but Knightley is a better last name than just Knight.
Wow, like fathers like sons. You know...another sad thing is, not only did Halique and Gusto (I still need to get used to the new official names tbh) treat their own sons like sh*t and abandoned them (though one of them was by intention), Bronco and Simeon also ended up becoming frankly sh**ty men just like their fathers before them.
There is something i did never really understand with the first case : They planned a fake assasination attempt but during the planning phase , a real one did occur with de killer involve , so why keep going with the fake one when they can just use the real one? Maybe for public opinion i guess.
These are my initial thoughts about Bronco when I started AAI2 for the first time: He’s kinda weird looking? Not really a fan of the Mohawk An hour or so later: I need art of him bottoming
I’m pretty sure Knightly like tied up Simeon so that he couldn’t go test his father’s sweets the two locked in the car which is what caused them both to almost die But also he was a child just doing what his dad told him to do, still I could see how some could interpret that as a betrayal
I respect the use of official translation names but hearing Knight instead of Knightley feels so incomplete. *12:13 nevermind Horace is better than Bronco. At the very least Knightley is better than Knight for the simple fact that it gave Edgeworth an excuse to know that those were surnames and not code names at the beginning of the case.
I hate making titles
But you’re so damn good at it 😭
Bronco Is so good for a "First Case" Culprit
If evil, why hot.
It adds to the charm

I think the Great Ace Attorney games also do something similar

I think you like Blondes
How to be Chazza favorite culprit: be blonde and be arrogant
That’s not what Roger Retinz is though
*cough cough* Horace Knightley *cough cough*

Maybe because of the sunk cost fallacy? Cause they spent so much effort on the fake assassination they wanted to capitalize on it
A Kanye reference, Oasis reference and a Beatles reference? Incredible Ngl
Great Video! And a house video? Now thats exciting
