Very beautiful and only 1 piece of advice. Her baby grand piano shouldn't be sitting near outside walls especially windows. That screws up the intonation. I'd stage it near the fireplace but the stringed body section away from the fire.
She made over a million dollars a year just skating with SOI - plus prize money in professional competitions and some acting. Her father is a corporate attorney - I'm sure he knows how to invest money - or knows someone who can.. If you invest a few million dollars wisely, you would have plenty of money to build this house. Charleston is not cheap at all, and Kiawah is even more expensive. That house is worth several million dollars today - probably more.

Those skaters who stayed in a long time did it because they kept messing up or getting injuries and weren't winning. They kept waiting for their big break and some of them never got it.
Cheryl Howe she had hip injurie just like other skater that I can’t remember the name (Korean descendent) you can’t jump triple triples with that kind of injurie and she had to do a surgery. No one that does a triple salkow triple loop at time was fluke. Next time inform yourself better instead of being mean spirited.
She was not a fluke, she was a technical wonder for that time in womens figure skating. Michelle Kwan might have been more elegant and pleasing to the eye, but she was no where near as good as Tara at that point in time. To bad she had an ingury that young. Guess that is what you get when your life exist only on skates.

If you look at this video and then look at what she looks like today you can tell all the plastic surgery she has had her teeth are completely different her face a nose job cheek implants maybe her face just does not look anything like it used to and if she ever decides to have a kid since she's done so much stuff to her face the kid won't even look like her kind of sad She felt the need to change her appearance so much

She has gained weight and aged, since this video was made.That's why her cheeks are so much fuller, weight and the natural sagging of age. This is from about 17 yrs. ago. She's probably 15 - 20 lbs. heavier now and she's only around 5 ft. tall. That makes a big difference on a small person, especially in their face. The same thing happened to Sasha Cohen after she stopped skating competetively and got out of her teens. She was barely recognizable with the weight gain. I think Tara was still a teenager here, she's about 36 yrs. old now. It's gotten ridiculous the way any time a celebritie's appearance changes, people just assume it's cosmetic surgery nowadays.
