His serve is truly elite, so is his net game and touch but his groundstrokes are not top 10 level, neither is his defense, footwork or court coverage. If your definition of talent is just serve, volley and dropshot then yeah Kyrgios is top 5 but that's not what talent means.

I wish he just would like the sport more. Its crazy how someone can be so good and still not like it very much, but i totally get him. I also didn't like tennis at all at one point because i kind of forced myself to play so i stopped playing gor a while. I slowly started playing again but not for the purpose of being good but for having fun, i think that's what gets you the most motivation. I bet Kyrgios could be or could have been number 1 if he just learned to harness his talent.

Given the timing I think it was to do with the bad calls - this match had so many corrections, the linespeople really weren't on form
