- What's up everyone! Today on this episode of Austin's Off Road Garage we pull another 5vz-fe 3.4L out of a wrecked 3rd Gen 4Runner that is a parts runner for my buddy Noah. He has a bad drivetrain in his current 3rd Gen 4Runner and this is the donor Engine\ Transmission\ Transfer case. Join us as we pull the entire assembly in one piece. ENJOY!

Dude, that long travel setup is going to be absolutely insane! I've been toying with King or Radflo 'mid-travel' but haven't decided on spring rates for the front. Did you go with the 600lb or 650lb coils, and how did you like your OEM replacement kings?
It will be I need to get my but gear and get it done. I personally went with the 700lb springs for the added weight. I like them, ride smooth and handle the terrain well.
did you get this on ksl
No. We've had it for a year or so. Been passed around through friends.
@@austinsoffroadgarage ah. there was one identical to it on there yesterday so that threw me off ahahah
@@mailejordan7241 we were trying to sell it. That was us haha.
@@austinsoffroadgarage do you want to donate the shocks and coils to me :D
@@mailejordan7241 sorry it's gone
Hey Austin I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 and when I stop and when it shifts into 1st gear I feel a small jerk or when I cold start it in the morning and put it into drive or reverse I get a kinda tug or jerk if u wanna call it, wtf is that!!! Idk what it is and it kinda freaks me out.
I would try a fluid change and see if that helps. Just a simple drain and fill. Don't flush it.
I had the same issue with my '98 Runner. I couldn't figure it out. I checked the drive shaft, changed all my fluids, checked to see if anything was loose under the truck and nothing. It went away when I replaced the OEM rear control arms/links with Opt Offroad links. Who knew??
