After getting the valve cover gaskets squared away on the 3rd Gen 4Runner I needed an engine detail to make sure there weren't any other leaks.

Nice work on the engine detail! I keep my ‘97 engine clean as well. I like the red valve covers! Really gives the engine bay a custom look. So glad I found your channel!
Thanks!
Wow! That 3rd gen of yours is more of a show piece now. These are really becoming rare and a classic! Good job on keeping your ride fresh. Take care bro!
Thanks!
Great job Bro!
Your attention to detail and relentless pursuit of perfection is amazing.
I’m the original owner of a 99 limited 4x4 silver runner with 138k miles.
It’s in great shape but yours is at another level!
My fenders need repainted. I don’t have your level of motivation so will
Be looking to get that quoted. Did you happen to check prices for a body shop to repaint it?
If so! How much?
You’re the man!
I chased an oil leak for years and it ended up being an oil cooler o-ring that dried up & cracked. On a 4x4, you have to remove the driver side wheel & go in from the wheel well.
I'll bet the HOA president loved the fact you did that in the street. LOL
LOL
Man that looks nice, thanks for sharing your process 👍😁
Beautiful runner my man
Great idea with the spray on the liner!
Worked better than I expected.
@@SpeedysGarage My hoodliner was just rotted and I didn't want to use it anymore so I used dynamat. Really don't love the silver look, so thought your idea of spraying the liner, just for a black overlay was brilliant. Never thought of painting it. I used that on my dynamat. Came out perfect. Thanks!
What air intake hose did you use? I want to ditch the factory. It's old.
I´ve one, but is quite diferent of yours. Booster for example. Hello from Costa Rica
Are those red pieces on the engine painted yourself or did you replace em?
Check the play list. I painted them wrinkle red.
Came out GREAT👍💯👍💯...Did you replace the hood or is it an after market hood scoop? Tried look thru your videos but didn't see it. Can you send link?
Keep Up The Great Work
It's factory OEM I installed many years ago.
you have the cleanest 3rd Gen I have ever seen! Do you take it on trails?
Not much anymore. They're getting to be classics .
Do you do work on other peoples 3rd Gen’s?
Good jop
What did you use to swap out the black tube with the shiny one?
It's a piece of polished aluminum for a "silencer delete" mod.
Hey Speedy, just out of curiosity, what do you do for a living?
He's a famous gigolo
Former underwear model.
@@SpeedysGarage I'm sorry, I thought you wanted to keep the model job a secret.
What happened to the Challenger? Not seeing any more videos
Traded it for a Porche, Dodge going electric lol.
Any plans for a manual swap?
I SERIOUSLY looked in to that. With mine being a 2002 and all the computer, VSC, etc issues I abandoned the idea. I couldn't live with a CEL.
i want to buy your 4runner
Would take a big pile of cash. I love this thing.
