Respect to Nancy Wilson and Gibson that they have somehow managed to build a signature guitar that is very much different to anything else in the range and available for a very modest price considering what you get. The Gunstar is a pretty cool desingn as well. Having heard the comment about never seeing Nancy Wilson and Tracii Guns in the same room together I can only wish that Tracii would see this and do a cover of Barracuda.
Kramer guitars are my absolute favorite ones on the market right now. I have a pacer vintage from 2015 in magenta metal flake and it feels and sounds as beautiful as it looks.

I've had 2 Epiphone Nighthawks that I really liked, so much so that I bought a Gibson equivalent. I've had a lot of Gibsons and Epiphones and I believe the Gibson Nighthawk is the only Gibson that I've liked better than the Epiphone version. The Epiphones Nighthawks are still really great guitars though.
I'd recommend Brides of Destruction, the band that Tracii Guns was in with Nicki Sixx. "Here Come the Brides" is a great album. The LA Guns cover of "All I Wanna Do is Make Love to You" is worth a listen.
If they kept the switching the same as the original 2 pickup Nighthawks then, in the order that you went, it should be full neck, rear coil of the neck pickup, rear coil of the neck and front coil of the bridge, full bridge, rear coil of the bridge. I have a '93 and that is how mine is. weird but very versatile
I think you should have a custom guitar with "Safe Space" and "Snowflake" drawn on ... Oh and "Star Girl" daughter. She's hot.!!! But you know that. lol
LA Guns is like a punkier GnR (they don't have the Queen-influenced Axl songwriting), great band, lots of great tunes, and Tracii is a monster player with Randy Rhoads roots but a rawer approach. Very much looking forward to your interview with him !
Hi Lee, I've just bought second hand Epiphone ES-339 Pro from someone who originally brought it from Andertons many years ago. Now I'm just wondering if it could be the one that you and Chappers played in that video in 2012 where you trialed the Gibsons as well. Extremely small chances but its got me wondering!
The mini humbucker is just another attempt to get the best of both single and humbucker in the neck position, where the neck pickup can be a little dull sometimes. I'm not sure it succeeds, but it's probably better than a typical vintage humbucker. And unlike the p90 there is no noise.
I have the epi nightgown and love it also. Three pickups with five way switch and seperate coil tap equels nine tonal options, very versatile and a great neck!
The Epiphone has a flaw in the finish just above the 22 fret area - there’s a dip in it. Could Kramer have put the toggle switch in a more naff position? Pete was struggling to even reach it. Not the guitars for me. But, I did buy an Epiphone Les Paul Special after the review on Anderson’s TV. It’s fabulous!
I'm interested in buying the Nancy Wilson guitar but they are not readily available in the UK.Dates keep moving on.Also cannot find out where they are made.
It’s kinda Funny, Both Tracii and Slash are Les Paul guys and both have a love for Unique hot rod guitars. Tracii with the Kramer and Slash with the B.C. Rich. And Both obviously in Guns and Roses at one time or another lol
Am I the only one regretting not getting the Nighthawk Custom from the early 2010s? (I technically did "buy" it, but the day it arrived at the store, it was unsoldered inside. No sound! And they didn't want to repair it. They were the only ones carrying it in my country 😢)

It's funny that I have yet to see any videos on the Kramer Baretta special. For the price $179.00 US, its by far and large the best bang for the buck, if ever there was a guitar that encapsulated the legacy of the late Eddie Van Halen at an affordable price it's the baretta special.
