and i have to add that in my opinion susanne has created so many emotional and good songs. her album "music for people in trouble" is the best example for her songwriting skills. amazing album. and one of my favourite songs is "when". (its by the way not that hard like when the lord)
this is about the power of pictures this is about pure emotion and it is about human suffering. being speechless is all you need to say, sometimes words are not necessary to tell something. i'm not religious either, but this is an almost religious experience to aee this video. it crackes me up everytime i listen to it, she has not even finished the fourt word until i'm in tears. but. this song will stay in your mind forever, so lene becomes immortal, doesn't she? susanne was able to create a piece of art with the same intensity lenes fotos have. this tiny, terminal ill person with her simple hand camera got connected to the people, so she was able to see into their souls and this makes it so hard to watch. lene decided to stop time when she was ten years old. she refused to eat, she refused to grow to an adult person and when she realized that she was able to do so she became this artist, able to stop time in herself and her pictures. in this vernissage you see lene, her mother and morten krogvold, an fotographer and tv host. he made an interview with lene, where she explains her art, her thoughts and her hope to recover some day - which didn't happen. you also see susanne sitting at her hospital bed. this song is the most intense song i know. and i love susanne for creating it. thank you for this reaction video. it was touching to see your emotional reaction. i need to listen to something positive right now myself. maybe some fm-belfast. great band from iceland. their happy tunes are perfect now. bless bless, like we say in iceland
