  • I rescued two broken Manitowoc ice machines from the scrap yard and combined them together to make one ice machine that works.
    The first Manitowoc ice machine wasn’t making ice because of a bad compressor. I removed and replaced that compressor using an older machine from my scrap yard.

    Nice compressor change out . I just replaced a bad evaporator coil on my manitowic neo . Was able to find a used one with some life on it still for $150 on ebay . I love that feeling when you see the ice drop .

      Right on! Awesome work! I agree with you. All that work and all you really want is to hear the crash. Totally satisfying.

    Respect for all you have shared in the past, but really going to do all that and not change a 20$ filter drier?

      @IceMachine411  5 місяців тому +1

      I agree. ☝️. I wasn’t actually sure if it would work or not. We will probably open it back up and change it out later.

    Nice. Yo got any good compressors for a qf0807w. My tec says it have bad valves, the discharge temp slowly keeps rising until it over heats.
