I play the chord progression to Pachabel in D, only in C. Heard a guy in Sam Ash a month ago playing an aria from 'Carmen'.
Through the fire and bass
I played Blaze Foley - Clay Pigeons fingerstyle on a RR Jackson in the guitar store. Received some interesting looks.
I once heard a dude playing the Super Mario Bros 3 theme on a guitar. It was pretty cool.
I shocked a guitar store salesman by playing a little bit of “Sultans of Swing” and “What It Is” (Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler) while test driving a Tele.
dire straits honestly don’t get the appreciation they deserve
Knopfler is criminally underrated

RN 87 i know, right? it’s completely ridiculous.
Guitar George knows all the chords! Awesome song
I had a salesman come into the amp room screaming "Ya go dude" when I played 10 yrs gone Led Zep. See I was playing a J Page Les Paul through a small Marshall tube amp. What else you posed play, right . A cool Zep song. But this guy loved it. Yelled so loud scared the shit out of me . I laughed after, but at first I thought I played "Stairway"!
I was hooked immediately, but I lost my shit when he played "lost woods"!
Best riffs that the world doesn't know:
Riff Raff - AC/DC
Not to mention Down Payment Blues and Sin City
@@SpirituallyWired wow, I don't hear these songs in ages
Killer song.
4:07 in case anyone was wondering, it's the William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini. It's also the theme from the radio/TV show "The Lone Ranger".
I actually DID try playing Black Bird at Guitar Center while testing a distortion setting... I always test distortion like that just for the fun of it. 😋
I also usually try to use other random tricks just to try to make it sound better.
"No stairway. Denied!"
Fur Elise is one of the songs my 10 year old daughter always plays on guitar when she picks one up. Lol, I some times regret teaching it to her (not). Great vid.
I did hear a guy playing the Jurassic Park theme once though
Awesome 🙂
Never ever heard someone play Slipknot in a guitar store because of the low ass metal tunings
Jack M they have some songs in drop d actually
@@sir.spiral2600 What songs? If it's a slower song like Vermillion Pt. 2 then I wouldn't know because I don't like their slower stuff Edit: I looked it up and saw that some songs have an alternate Drop D style, but neither Jim or Mick play them in Drop D, nor were they written in Drop D.
Jack M I thought you could play sic in d flat and psychosocial In drop d
@@sir.spiral2600 Yes, Psychosocial has a Drop D alternative tuning but (sic) is in Drop B
Jack M Psychosocial is actually in Drop A...
Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) with the intro stuff-up
That's the only way I play it. If i don't do the opening "fuck" I ain't doing it right.
@@TheJUGGALO1113 It just feels wrong to go without.
Tyler, I know this video is a year old, but I would like to thank you for introducing me to Baroque. It’s my number one meditation song, and I fuckin LOVE IT.
I’ve never heard fly of the bumblebee in a guitar store:v
That may be because it's "FLIGHT of the Bumblebee".
Maybe (•___•)
@@metalguy4144 Haha. I was, of course just messing ya.
Tu sabes español a mi no me engañas
More like 99% of all classical piece are almost impossible to be heard in a guitar store XD
One time a met a guy at a sam ash who played Folsom prison blues on an explorer, I played some Stevie Ray Vaughn on an sg. Good times
Funny i was in a sam ash and i was doing van Halen style tapping on a fender tele. Another dude was playing shook me all night on a strat.
I played SRV on a Flying V
These *were* songs you'd never hear. Now peeps are gonna play them
👍 for Baroque. One of my favorite warm
up songs, it really gets your fingers to "thinking"
2:06 During these days, this song is not allowed
You don't hear Joe Satriani PERIOD! It makes me so sad to hear the words "whose that" whenever I mention him 😢
Whose that?
Because most can't play it, lol.
“pERioDT” 💀
First saw satch live in 1989... proud to say ive seen him live in 4 decades and will be 5 soon
Joe Satriani and Mark Knopfler are 2 of the most underrated guitarists of all time
Glad i played minor swing a few weeks ago at my local guitar shop :D Also fun to confuse blues guitarist with
I usually play various AC/DC, ASIA, or the intro to Nothing Else Matters. Never gotten any complaints. I do "Do Ya" by ELO a lot too
