Made me so happy to hear you say that no realism artists work solely from their head, and use things like grids. I feel less intimidated now, and more like, if I keep working at it, I can draw the way I want to draw. Thank you😃xxx
This was a really wonderful video, thank you for sharing so much of what makes your art incredible! I would be super interested in seeing a video on the grid method!
I'd love to know what kinds of music you enjoy while you draw. I know it's not a technical art question, but sometimes that can tell me a lot about an artist's mindset. (For me, it's usually goth, punk, and post-punk)
Great Art. Great Videos. Thank you for giving us a background look into You and your art process. Question: I noticed you using a mechanical pencil, do you have a preference in lead type and brand? Thank you again. Cheers!
Hi Jono! Thank you for sharing your work, I love your videos! Would you be willing to share the name of the circular cutting tool you use? I've been looking for ages for a tool like this. Thank so much! :)
great video! would definitly love to see a video on how you use your grid method i think this would be really helpful as someone who tends to shy away from the traditional grid method of lots of boxes, i know alot of artists use different grids.
What side of the arches paper do you draw on? I have some and it seems to be more textured on one side. I’m doing smaller portrait style work currently and wonder if I should stick to the smoother side to aide in getting the details right. Thanks for any input.
@@JonoDry what do u suggest please -- also is there an opportunity to meet you at all please-- it would be an provide as I'm your greatest fan ..really am i ! :)
I'm sure it takes a lot of planning before you start a drawing and you have to know exactly what the outcome of the drawing would look like because of commting so much time.

Hi, it wasn't anything fancy. It was just a standard blade attached to compass that you'd usually use for a pencil.
My experience has shown me walnut oil works really well. So far I have not experienced any yellowing. 😃
