This is an absolute must-visit when you're in Chiang Mai. We had such a good afternoon here and bonus points to it costing nothing but the price of fuel!
Don't do what we did and forget your swimsuit and be sure to take the short walk to the cold spring that the waterfall starts from.
It's such an odd experience due to the minerals in the water remaining on the rocks and creating an extremely grippy surface you can climb up.
Do be sure to be careful though, especially with kids as there are still some very slippery areas.
