This song was originally suppose to be a parody of a 60's rock song. It was released only on a vinyl 45 and it was the flip side of the intended song Kiss the Go Goat. He also said that this was his Dad's band (the original Ghost), formed in the 1960's. It was all suppose to be a joke. It was released on Halloween. Tobias only made this video when his daughter said that it was blowing up on Tic-Toc.
In the grand, extensive mythology that this band made for themselves, this could be considered a "flashback", to when "Papa Nihil" was the singer. It was released along with "Kiss the Go-Goat". Haha! Rock on, guys! 🤘😎👍
If you like Swedish Metal, also listen to SABATON with songs named; Christmas Truce, 1916, The Last Stand, Bismarck, or maybe one in Swedish "En Livstid i Krig"... They are history interested, and write about wars from the history. Very good as well!
This may very well be the most ridiculous band there is. This whole horror catholic get up doesn't go with this extremely tame, but catchy, pop song. There is no relevance at all, but for some wannabe nuns and some girls who heard it on the radio. Guess they were looking for a niche in the market. They found it, halloween meets ABBA. Brrr.
People criticised Ghost for sounding like 60s Scooby Doo chase music.
Ghost just embraced it.
