      You certainly provide me some inspiration for my '94. I recently saw an ae92 gts for 700 on craigslist and I was really tempted to grab it for the engine and trans but its gone now lol

      Bla Spogelse Haha yup that will happen lol.. it happened to me on a corolla fx little hatch..

      I would love to build an FX hatch, I rarely see em though so I feel like parts are a nightmare to find lmao

      Rob Africa haha its really a headache compared just a stand alone.. there alot of fabrication involved lol..

    you inspire bro, I'm doing a silvertop head on a 4afe block with silvertop pistons, not going boost, the afm is a pain, will a honda ecu distributor and harness with map sensor solve my problem

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  4 роки тому

      Thanks man.. hey If you know how to get the dizzy on there and fabricate it to stay on it might help you. however; Standalone is the other way to go for those who don't want to get involved in fabrication and tapping into original harnesses to wire in a honda harness . Yeah afm is a pain lol map is beat

      @@holdmywetnutz yh .... I'm gonna get it right tho, been thinking bout the possibility of using the blacktop ecu, harness,dizzy and map sensor. I'm telling you tho the honda parts really get these engines respond differently.

      Rollachriz is it possible for me to use the 7afe harness or do i have to go 4age harness?

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  7 років тому

      TIMGRAVES29 yes a 20v 4age harness.. and if you want more tuning flexibility theres some plug n play standalone engine managements that plug right into the harness

    Can I run stock 7afe rods and how much rpm and hp can they handle

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  7 років тому

      Kevin Garaway I would play it safe and stay at 260whp max and 7krpm maybe 7200-7500 with arp rod bolts in my other video.. i bent all stock rods at 387whp after like 6 races and 13 dyno pulls. So in all honesty ebay has rods for $300 and are strong you wont. BReak them and dont have to worry cause my word isnt 100% because every rod is different and one could be old and the bolts stretched. One rod could let go .so its a risk going that route as stock rods bit i would inspect the bolts or us the ARP ones and keep the limit low until you can afford rods
