- An updated re-release of "A Picture Biography of Ajahn Brahm", on the occasion of his 68th birthday. This time with a soundtrack as well :)
This video will give you some glimpses into Ajahn Brahm's eventful life and into the invaluable work he does so selflessly.
Ajahn Brahm is truly a gift to this world. I have not nor will I ever be able to meet him and yet I regard him as my teacher. In a long distance fashion via UA-cam I took the five precepts from him and consider myself a lay Buddhist in the Theravada tradition. Ironically, he was born one month before my youngest sister. I have most if his books and have watched many of his Dharma talks. I feel blessed to have gotten to know him even just a little bit via his writings and hearing his words. He is a gifted teacher. Sadhu sadhu sadhu. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Why did I start to cry after 5 minutes into the video. IDK. It may be because I’m seeing a wonderful, selfless and compassionate human being who started with meager beginnings but grew up to be one of mankind’s Giants ... and I’m happy to have known him, not personally, but just through his many talks. I’m also so very happy for him. My heart smiles when I see all the wonderful kind and caring things he’s done around the world ... and the millions who adore him. And I look at my own life, and where I’ve been and wonder if I could ever be like this man one day.
Of course you will. Already you are far on the way & helping others. This great-hearted tribute is one indication.
A remarkable human being. To me Ajahn Brahm is the embodiment of compassion and kindness. His talks and teaching style has made me see the world in a different way, kinder, more compassionate and inclusive. I hope he remains healthy for many more years. Thank you Ajahn for your service. It is beyond words.

I cannot thank you enough for uploading this excellent biography of Ajahn. I have been following his teachings and his wonderful UA-cam videos for 15 years and he is for me, a life-long Buddhist, one of the most humble, most eloquent and revered Buddhists of the modern age.
