And yes the whole spiritual process is to get rid of karmic debt(both our own and that which is passed down) and be absolutely free. Free Will IS the ultimate goal of pretty much all eastern religions. That's why its called Mukti. Mukti means liberation. Liberation from what? Its from bondage of Karma. To have absolute free will. Let the cycle continue. I think my Viking ancestors gave me this gift in a very strange way. I love hearing it verbalized and knowing it is not just in myself.
I really enjoy your work, and I'm am a firm believer in animistic beliefs. I like to say "extract the impurities of society, to get to the core substance, ourselves", which in my mind is a part of nature and everything within nature. One and the same. You said a couple of things that stood out in this video, the first was what said about orlag, it's is a common denominator, indigenous Americans calls this our image makers. There are many common denominators in Animism from all over the world. That would make a great video, being a cultural anthropologist, in heart only, and some readings and education, find these common denominators fascinating. The other was the lake analogy, definitely in line with my own personal philosophy. The last thing I would like to say is, navigation is key in this realm, in terms of what you manifest on your path, reading the signs of everything involved, such as ancestors, image Makers, the energy around your present, xcetera.... Another thing I like to say is "one must have clear perception and true intent, then anything is possible in the created present". That's when the magic begins to happen. But as you often say, that's a subject for another video...🤠✨✌🏻
Excellent video! I found the Gods and Goddesses of Asgard 4 years ago and have found my faith to grow stronger every day. I seek Wotan's knowledge and wisdom every day threw use of the Runes! I use the Runes to gain wisdom from All-Father and his Children in Asgard. I believe that I physically encountered All-Father who came to me to let me know he is watching me. You may think I am a coocoo...Oh well. I know what happened. This video helps me understand my faith better. This channel is awesome!
As learning from my ancestors was not broken from the crusaders I can tell you that traditions such as runes are more child learning toys that we tend to keep to life long practice. None of these things are truly needed except to help you focus. It is your spiritual existence in all living things within the air, the water, the stone and the earth that we connect with and we can use to feel each others existence. As such you can have vivid spiritual connections with your true love anywhere on earth or have visions of the future or the distant past. And "God" is a misrepresentation of the word "good" which is spelled "god", this confusion is from the crusaders also. Our "god" or "good" or "great" Odin, Wotan, Frigg, Freya etc are "good" or "great" not "God". We must accept they are people of our ancestral past we preserve the stories of who they were and what they stood for. Our stories exaggerate their heroism and greatness and embellish them beyond reality to make their stories live the tests of time. Such as Odin who lived over 12,000 years ago. These stories are believed by many today to be more recent but they are not though some stories are wrongly attributed to such. There are several other families like mine that held the truth in secrecy from the crusaders. I am not the only one who knows these things. But I was not spending enough time with my grandmother and this was supposed to be carried on by the girls, because us boys are not good at remembering all these finite details. What is MOST important is to maintain our racial caste. We are not Germanic or Slavic, we are Nordic!

Greetings Arith thanks for another great video. If the threads of the future can be changed how could the volva, in Voluspa, foretell the Ragnarok? Indeed it could be argued that by telling Odinn about it, that she had caused it into being because it puts him on guard and he tries to change the outcome by causing wars to amass the Einherjar to that end. Following that thought did the volva make Odinn become the god of the dead, the mad one?
In my opinion the Voluspa is the prelude to the beginning of the events that will eventually lead to Ragnarok. This entire poem seems to be the representation of one of the major fears in Norse society when dealing with the Volvur, which was knowing the outcome of the future, the invevitable end, knowing their deaths. That would lead people to despair and constant anguish, afraid to live, or trying to avoid everything that might cause their known-death, which would prevent them from actually living and enjoying life. That's what happened to Odin. After knowing the future and about Ragnarok, he "freaked out" and you can see in the myths that Odin's actions to prevent Ragnarok is precisely what leads to Ragnarok. The gods were so afraid that they ended up causing Ragnarok while trying to prevent it. It was even worse. It's total chaos when people know their future and the mortal of the story is that no one should know their future or their entire lives until the very end are completely ruined. The future can be predicted by analyzing the past and the present, but the future is never right, it may change. Also, I do think that this Volva in the Voluspa was none other than Gullveig, and her entiry plan was precisely to poison the hearts of the gods with fear so in their despair they would fall into chaos.
There is a theory that Gullveig/Heidr is Freya before the Aesir/Vanir war, but often the manifestations of the Norse deities is ambiguous at the best of times. There's too many gaps in the source materials for us to get a clear picture. It would be great to get in a time machine and interview Snorri.
Yes I'm aware of the theory and I must say it's not a very good one, because it's filled with flaws. Gullveig could never be Freyja, but Heidr was Gullveig. Something to talk about on another video if I ever make one about Gullveing, don't you think my dear friend? ^^
Yes I guessed that you already knew and I have always thought that it was a bit strange but it's good to put alternatives out there as food for thought. A video on her would be good because you get the feeling from the Poetic Edda that she is a really ancient being.
In the Valuspa it says "fear not death, for the hour of your doom is set" after your excellent explanation of fate, do you suppose this is just advice to live with our fear of death, or that your death is indeed set in time?
The image of the "wyrd" that circulates in the network, that kind of lattice or network. Is it from the Viking era or a later construction like some "Viking" symbols?
What is the meaning of the rune at the beginning right after the waterfall? I have searched but I have not found an answer yet. I have learned so much from you, thank you Arith
Tom Campbell the physicist has proposed that the universe is a simulation that consciousness has ' logged on ' to gain experience. This simulation has evolved rather than been programmed by aliens or whatever. Campbell explains that time is necessary for free will and refutes the idea 'time is an illusion ' What is being proposed here is very interesting and I wonder if anyone has an idea how the two concepts could coexist to further our understanding.
For now I'm doing Q&A's for my patrons. I'm actually doing one right now and the video will come out soon. In the future with more people I shall do live streams. I think it will be cool and that's a very good idea, thank you.
To me Norse version of destiny seems like a more wise and adult version of christian fate ... Thank you. So what about "freedom of will" ? does it match with some pagan concept ? is there a more mature and riche version of it in the norse believes ?
Since we can foresee the future while in particular states of consciousness, does this not mean that there is a future? I know that certain aspects of it can be changed, and yet there also appear to be certain aspects that are set.

@@ArithHärger I think every major traumatic event is a ragnarök.
Wow, this just got incredibly postmodern!
In the Valuspa it says "fear not death, for the hour of your doom is set" after your excellent explanation of fate, do you suppose this is just advice to live with our fear of death, or that your death is indeed set in time?
Inaction also has consequence.
any tips on the best practical
books on galdor?
The image of the "wyrd" that circulates in the network, that kind of lattice or network. Is it from the Viking era or a later construction like some "Viking" symbols?
Is that Burzum in the background? I know Burzum when I hear it.
I mean, I know Varg wouldn't mind because the video is about paganism.
It is def Burzum
What is the meaning of the rune at the beginning right after the waterfall? I have searched but I have not found an answer yet. I have learned so much from you, thank you Arith
Hello there! It's Helrunar or Wyrd rune or just Wyrd, the representation of the web of fate ^^
@@ArithHärger thank you very much
Tom Campbell the physicist has proposed that the universe is a simulation that consciousness has ' logged on ' to gain experience.
This simulation has evolved rather than been programmed by aliens or whatever. Campbell explains that time is necessary for free will and refutes the idea 'time is an illusion '
What is being proposed here is very interesting and I wonder if anyone has an idea how the two concepts could coexist to further our understanding.
Jaaaaarroooww Here indeed we go again, But never a 2nd for that outcome is nedr nee
The Dutch word for war is Oorlog :) the meaning makes sense now
Só tem uma pequena parte legendada
Is that burzum that background?
No, it isn't
Arith Härger it sounds similar to one of Vargs songs. This was a exceptional video. Have you thought of doing a live stream Q&A?
For now I'm doing Q&A's for my patrons. I'm actually doing one right now and the video will come out soon. In the future with more people I shall do live streams. I think it will be cool and that's a very good idea, thank you.
To me Norse version of destiny seems like a more wise and adult version of christian fate ...
Thank you.
So what about "freedom of will" ? does it match with some pagan concept ? is there a more mature and riche version of it in the norse believes ?
What about déjà vu?
Since we can foresee the future while in particular states of consciousness, does this not mean that there is a future? I know that certain aspects of it can be changed, and yet there also appear to be certain aspects that are set.
Oorlog '' is the Dutch word for 'War', in Dutch there are still a few of those old germanic words that survived. greets my friend
A legenda parou na horas das fylgja
What language is being spoken at the beginning?
The intro music is fascinating but the link in the description isn't displaying fully, and I can't figure it out by searching. What is the artist and track name?
Thank you for letting me know. The links are indeed a mess. I'll fix them. But the introduction is all mine. Only the music during the video is from incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/ But I should add a note saying that the Intro is my creation, because it gets confusing. THank you!
@@ArithHärger Thank you, well I really liked the words
