I'm staring at my screen trying to find my words. I know I saw you put the angel on the dresser, but seriously Amy, the rest is all you. In the art world there is a blurred line between fine art and applied art. You took a piece of fine art, the angel and her world, and in so doing, recreated the vision onto the surface of your Aunt's dresser. Not much of the original paper you purchased is visible. The now, painting, envelopes the entire dresser. It's your masterpiece now. As you were painting and talking about your Aunt, I got literal goosebumps! I have angels in my life, so the reveal was a bit emotional. I can say I've never seen anything prettier. Please sign & date this Amy. There is so much joy in the words you were adding to the video. Thanks, what a lovely way to start my day!🌷🌷🌷
I hope your aunt loved it. It turned out absolutely amazing. She sounds like an angel. What a beautiful tribute to your aunt and the years of service she has given to others. You did fantastic!! Isn’t it great when we LOVE what we are painting? It makes it so much more FUN!
You should do the decoupage paper with the piece laying on its back. You're struggling because you're working against gravity. If the piece lays flat, you'll have a MUCH easier time ❤
Thank you for this real life lesson with decoupage! I am so glad you showed your trials and tribulations and then how to fix the tears! So beautiful and yes, this is inspirational. Your aunt and grandma are going to love this. What a wonderful and loving tribute to them.
Lady, you are the queen of hot tips! love the heat gun tip...will definitely be using that! Seriously this video was FILLED with tips! This piece, that paper! STUNNING. Thank you for sharing all the beauty and the mountains you had to get over...the end result was all worth it! Your Aunt sounds amazing! She is such a good example of how the world should be!
Amy you have out done yourself with this piece!!! Your Aunt sounds like a wonderful person and you put your heart into this piece for her❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ both of you are a blessing to others and it shows in this piece!!! I think when the Lord gives you talent you should use it to it’s fullest extent and you did just that.. I hope your Grandma and your Aunt enjoy this piece for a very long time☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Woooow!!! Hi, this is Sonia from Spain. I really enjoy watching furniture flipping videos. And, this is the most “wooow” video I’ve seen so far. Congratulations! I’m sure your aunt really appreciated it. She so lucky to have it! With all your love coming out from your hands! Fantastic!
This is gorgeous!! Thank you for showing the rips and the fixes. I've been too intimidated to try this.... Now I feel like it's actually doable! ❤️🤞🏾😍 And this was such a sweet idea for your aunt!
Your aunt sounds like an amazing person and this piece of art is the perfect match. Well thought out process and the results are stunning. Bravo!!! Even the handles and legs blend into the image and become part of it. Thank you for the class. Learned a lot.
Amy this is incredible! Wow, what a stunning blend to match the paper and I can't tell you how many great tips I picked up on decoupage paper! Thanks so much! Love the image too, actually everything is perfect. Your aunt and grandma are lucky ladies for sure to have this piece in their life 😍
Amy, I think YOU'RE a very special person, with an enormous amount of talent who is willing to share it! Thank you so much honey...I love your work so much! You inspired me right out of a depression!❤️
Thank you! I was just reading over comments and yours mean so much to me. Thank YOU so much for watching😊Im so glad you are enjoying. Painting is very therapeutic for me. I hope you find it to be for you as well❤️
What a beautiful piece! It’s all so satisfying to watch it all come together but I loved when you took the drawers out to show how you blended it all together.
Oh my God Amy, this is a master piece an actual full painting, a masterpiece, honestly this brings so much emotion and awe ,it is truly truly breathtaking, and its made so special not just because of your talent but because of the reasons you made it, you are extraordinary, I would love to see more decoupage, you have a gift, I absolutely love your work and look forward to seeing all your pieces, but this piece is breathtakingly beautiful, remarkably unforgettable thank you for sharing this piece ,all the best always Mary in Australia ⚘♥️
AMY!! This is probably my favorite piece you’ve done (and I love so many of your pieces). I love the image on this decoupage paper and the colors (antebellum blue is one of my favorite colors) are just awesome. IMO, when using decoupage, you want to “paint it in” (term I’ve heard other creators use) so that it looks as “one” with the piece, like a painting you nailed it! Plus, I think some of the little wrinkles makes it look more authentic. That’s so cool how you used the glue syringe to fix the bubbles! I too think your aunt and grandmother are just going to LOVE this! From what you described about her (she sounds amazing), this is a perfect piece for her. When your cousin cried she was overcome with emotion and that’s what art does, makes you “feel”. This is also why this is probably my favorite piece of yours. Sorry for the long comment, I was feeling all the “feels” too.💜
HELLO FROM TOLEDO !! hey hot stuff... your so stinken talented and have i toledo you this week yet how darn cute you are? YOU CUTE! hehe ... love the video, love the piece. keep em coming sister
This was so cool to watch, Amy. This piece is really special and really beautiful. I enjoyed learning about the significance of this piece and where it will be going. I hope your aunt really loves it. ❤
Yes! I wish I would’ve said that in my video. The only reason I didn’t lay it on it’s back was because I was filming. But it’s definitely easier if you lay it on its back👍
@@FlipItFurniture thanks so much.. I thought that might be it, but having not yet done any decoupage on that level yet I am collecting info on the process though you do take it to levels I can only dream of..
I have heard a few people say it’s easier when they lay the piece on it’s back. For me it’s tricky both ways. I’ve done both and i don’t think there is a big difference.
@@FlipItFurniture I have a tall cabinet that I'm going to be doing soon and I'm going to be decoupaging upholstery fabric to the back inside. I definitely think I'm going to be laying it on its back on my work table.
Shoewee.... Your aunt's mood will be lifted each time she sees and uses it. 😇 Stunning work. Learned so much. Thanks. ✨🌺✨

Do you change your brushes every time you change your colors? This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I like using my hands and fingers for decoupage.
Beautiful ❤
💜❣️BEAUTIFUL ❣️💜
This was so cool to watch, Amy. This piece is really special and really beautiful. I enjoyed learning about the significance of this piece and where it will be going. I hope your aunt really loves it. ❤
Would it be easier to lay dresser on it’s back to layout your print and then decoupage?
Wow!
Isn’t there a brush to use when you decoupage? It helps a lot.
Beyond gorgeous.. would it have been easier to decoupage if it were laid on its back?
Yes! I wish I would’ve said that in my video. The only reason I didn’t lay it on it’s back was because I was filming. But it’s definitely easier if you lay it on its back👍
@@FlipItFurniture thanks so much.. I thought that might be it, but having not yet done any decoupage on that level yet I am collecting info on the process though you do take it to levels I can only dream of..
queen you have done it yet again 👑 slayed as usual (btw its Ginger)
Hahaha I know it’s you!❤️❤️❤️
Super fine work. But why dont you lay the pjece on its back, when you decoupage the drawers?
Fair question
I have heard a few people say it’s easier when they lay the piece on it’s back. For me it’s tricky both ways. I’ve done both and i don’t think there is a big difference.
