It has been quite the journey leading up to this video and I am super excited to have been able to complete this challenge I set out for myself! It is certainly not a perfect cover, and there are hiccups, however not everything is going to be perfect. You just have to push through it!

The absolute trance state you entered for 40 seconds at 44:50. That was immaculate. Beautifully done. People say planking makes a minute feel like an eternity, but that polyrhythm section has got to feel unending as well lmao
Another term for that trance state is "flow state". And yes, he was totally in a flow state during that part. Impressive!

I came across this video because the UA-cam algorithm knows I love Tool and, in particular, it knows I love Danny Carey. I'm a wannabe drummer that gave up long ago, but I know you did this because you understand Danny is a consummate musician and recreating a Tool recording for a drummer is a challenge worth undertaking. Phenomenal work, sir. You should be proud of yourself. Also 10,000 Days is probably the best Tool album... It's hard to say...

Just wow! Your dedication is admirable…. Side note- I wonder how long it took Danny C. to conceive / write the original score, the complexity and construct is beyond comprehension.
This level of dedication to his craft is on par with only the gods. Truly awe inspiring to watch. I've been a drummer for 35 years and this blew me away!! Danny is easily my favorite drummer of all time. I hope you make a ton of money off UA-cam for this achievement!
