I live in the netherlands and we didn't build those walls to stop the sea rise water from coming in but in late 20th century there was a very big flood and we realised the country lays very low so we built the walls. This was before research proved sea rise through global warming was a thing.

Good idea right? But is there a negative effect on this?
So basically…
1.Somehow get all the sea water loaded into a gigantic rocket to Mars, which you can only travel to every 2 years as every two years mars is aligned with earth. It is EXTREMELY hard to land on mars (Only 1/3 of the rockets sent to mars actually make it). Besides, it takes more than just a few months to get to Mars.
2. If the rocket somehow doesn't go off track or combust, you'd have to pour it all out on Mars without humans overseeing this procedure (If you traveled to mars the gravity there is different than earth so you would never be able to come back because the your bones would kind of explode if you came back to earth) By the way, mars is technically -83 celsius so we'll just hope that the water doesn't freeze instantly.

Could someone explain why the idea of Global Cooling came about, and why it was so widely believed in up until now?
I’m genuinely asking this. My father and grandparents grew up hearing about global cooling.
TL;DR, a couple scientists said cooling "soon" ("soon" in a geologic time scale, millennia or more) , many said warming "soon" ("soon" on a human lifespan time scale, decades), science media reported both without clarification, and then a few cold years made people worry that pollution was going to cool the world like a volcanic/nuclear winter. Warming was always more worried about than cooling, but media reports didn't reflect that, and the misconception was carried forward by people going "eh global cooling didn't happen then so it's just the same hysteria now."
