      In women, endometriosis can also cause various gut and intestinal issues, as it is an chronic inflammatory condition. Many with endo also have any of the following: sibo, leaky gut, IBS, food intolerances to dairy, gluten, high fodmaps, and more. It's been suggested that a dairy-free, gluten-free, low-fodmap diet is the way to go for endometriosis. There's ALSO connections between endo, histamine, POTS, and iron deficiency. More oestrogen = more histamine = more infllammation = more lesion growth. Just wanted to point this out as I have many of the aforementioned things and am blown away by all the connections to each other. I was shrugged off for so long by so many doctors. This is the typical journey someone with endo takes! So i hope this comment helps someone!
      Dr Ruscio - I'd love to hear you speak on endo and gut issues! So many women are knowingly and unknowingly plagued by this! 1 in 10 women!!

    I enjoy your videos, I’m also aware of oxalates. High oxalate foods aren’t necessarily supportive for people with inflammation, and definitely not for people with sensitive or stressed kidneys 🙏 New book: Toxic Superfoods.
    There’s no one answer for us all, it’s so nuanced. People need to be aware of their bodies and not just do things because they ‘think’ it’s good ❤️

    Whats your view on resistance starch and how to make resistance starch foods
    pls reply

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  7 місяців тому +1

      Resistant starches can be beneficial as prebiotics. However, it really depends on the individual. For example, many are FODMAPs, so may cause other GI symptoms in sensitive individuals even as consuming them also increases beneficial bacteria. I’m more inclined to recommend probiotic supplementation vs prebiotics in someone who has SIBO or IBS - holding off on prebiotics until they improve.

    Can i take Immunoglobulin for Dysbiosis also probiotics?

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes, you can take both, though probiotics may be more effective for dysbiosis specifically. Some people benefit from adding colostrum as their source of immunoglobulin to improve gut integrity and health.

    when i start taking L-glutamine

    right now i am taking twice a day
    before lunch
    before dinner

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  7 місяців тому +2

      L-glutamine can be a great supplement for leaky gut and other GI problems, especially where permeability is an issue. Gut health has a major impact on skin health, so hopefully you’ll see that improve as you continue taking glutamine.

    Love your videos but do you follow the latest science? I know there’s not a consensus but the numbers are quite clear. All meats including fish are inflammatory. And eggs. The most anti inflammatory you can eat is a whole food plant based diet. And the studies on this are meta studies and the ones supporting meat, diary or eggs are very small. If you have any other sources on this please share them in a video. I know not everyone is ready to eat only plants but everyone has the right to choose.

      Some people thrive on carnivore diet and for some its highly inflamatory. Some people thrive on whole food plant based diet and some people feel like they are dying when they try. I think everybody should do what works best for them. Lets stop trying to impose a one size fits all diet.

    • @lumanliu8457

      Just don't try to find a best diet for everyone. People need to do their due diligence.
