    For fuss budgets like me... we use distilled water! Will be making sure it is COLD!

      Good idea. I’ll place my Britta over the kitchen sink. Our water Is mineralized. We can see mineral precipitation from melting ice cubes made from tapwater

    This is precisely what I needed, including confirmation that these little things are the same material as bigger microfiber cloths. Those instructions were the same (although did allow for warm water if hand washing,) but the towel looked different so I wasn't sure!

    I have the same bottle of "Dr. Jesus" soap but I prefer peppermint. It's useful for cleaning a lot of things, including myself. I like using it as a body wash :)

      I think so i've been using dish soap since i first learned to clean my microfiber i also put my microfiber through warm water so fibers loosen releasing any dirt or dust that is trapped in between the fiber so far my glasses have been fine

      I'll suggest like lukewarm where it's like not freezing cold but cold enough to feel it when touching it in a warm room
      Warm will likely expand the fibers and attract more stuff than you want it to and scratch up your lenses

    I don't put cloths in the dryer. The micro fiber attracts & collects the lint. If when you clean your glasses they have lint, its because of the dryer.

    Bro I am just 15 year old .
    My eyes are good (normal)
    My doctor say that my eyes are normal , does not have any problem in my eyes.
    But I use more computer and Mobile so I want a glasses to save my eyes from getting affected by computer and Mobile
    Today my eyes are normal but after some months I think will get weak because I see 6 hour computer screen in school or also some hour on home.
    What glasses should I use ?

      staring at a screen doesn't damage your eyes at all. That's a myth. Also, wtf do you mean 'what glasses should I use?', you don't pick.

      If you’re gonna get anything just get some blue light/computer glasses. You don’t need a prescription pair.

      You need to Learn some eye exercises, like blinking your eyes consciously while on screen, make sure to look away for 1 minutes every 15-20 minutes...wash ur eyes with cold water... computers usually cause dryness which cause blurry vision. Search more and you'll know what you can do more.... You can also buy a Kindle paper white if u've money.😊

    Bought scratch resistant lens all bells and whistles they STILL got scratches. Ugh.. super expensive... How can i remove or seal them?

    large mason jar with warm distilled water and a few drops of dawn. Add microfiber(s) and shake vigorously. Rinse well with distilled...

    I am one voice of decades of experience that harsh handling seems to cause no harm. I set the machine to hot water with enough oxiclean to strip paint. Then to save extra quarters I dry so hot it almost makes charcoal, yet the microfibers work out fine (not scratchy). I do have problems hand washing because my cheap handsoap has high residue.

    I have a question about the numbers on your lenses. Do they have to be there? My old glasses didn't have them, and I like those better. I have progressive with anti glare lenses.

      Hot water will cause the microfibers to fuse, making them hard, less absorbent, and more likely to scratch.

    I put mine in a small mesh laundry bag and throw it in with a load of whites in warm water, then I hang it on a drying rack.

    what happens if you used fabric softener? I used on mine :( They look fine, but can they now damage the glassses?

      I'm not 100% but someone else said the fabric softness can clog the pores of the cloth and cause smudges.

      @pusheencat7722 might be able to wash the softener out wash like this, then soak in rubbing alcohol cold water solution for a few minutes, then air dry.

      Good question! Too much heat can damage the cloth because it is made of polyester.

      @@didamnesia3575 I'm familiar with the ones auto detailers use in cleaning vehicles . Said they orginated in Japan years ago . Korean made is affordable and the Rag Co. in Boise , Idaho is a major seller . As well to washe them in warm / cold water only , no bleach , clear dtergent and no clothes softener . And if using a dryer , low heat / no heat , no dryer sheets . I use a 12 inch by 12 inch microfiber towel to dry my glasses . I use softsoap clear liquid soap to wash my glasses . First rinse them off in warm / hot water . Then use the soap in my hands to clean and then rinse off and dry . Best I think is a liquid soap , clear / scent free and even " natural " .
