    I totally agree! I’m 6 months in! Love the job and love my job but it does get stressful! I’ve experienced some weeks are crazy busy and then the next week it would be slow!

      Oh yeah! I remember those days. You’re in fight-or-flight for 3 years continuously. Keep at it! Do great work and stay in the game. You’ll be so happy you did.

    You should think about creating a online course for making your first 100k as a financial advisor. Really awesome info!

    Great stuff man. You really are passionate about this. I’m the same age as you looking to make a career change. Have a long way to go but I’d love to learn some good resources to start with.

    A good follow up video would be, “7 best ways to find 800 clients”. What is the best way to find them if you don’t have social media

    Great content man! Did you start off as a financial advisor with a certain company and then you went by your own?

      Thanks Ray! Yes, I did. It was probably near impossible for me to do so on my own. There's so many regulatory requirements that I'd have to jump through hoops to have my own practice from day one.

    Would you recommend starting with a company like Charles Schwab that will help me get licensed?

    • @JoshOlfertCFP
      @JoshOlfertCFP  2 роки тому

      Yes. Starting with another firm is probably the best way to cut your teeth. Maybe seek out an RIA who's philosophy you agree with.

    Hi new viewer/sub, I've a question. Where did you get your CFP marks? What school or program, I apologize if you have that info in a video you've posted but like I said, I'm new and this is only the second video of yours I've seen. Anyway, that was my question, where did you get your CFP education from?

    don't you charge a performance fee on investments?

    • @JoshOlfertCFP
      @JoshOlfertCFP  3 роки тому +1

      Nope! A flat fee as a percentage of assets.
