As an Argentine, I'm always thankful to Britain because they've changed the whole world for the better with their 17th and 18th revolutions. Bringing economic development, free trade, democracy and freedom values who were born in the British Enlightenment, the abolition of slavery, sciences and medical development and they stopped the nazy tyrany. Here in Latin America, our modern nations were born with British help (supporting the wars against Spain) and we made constitutions based on the Enlightenment. As it is for Argentina, our state became economically strong during 1880-1930 thanks our commerce with Britain and British investments in our land. Our GDP ranked in top 5 for several years. That economical boom brought a mass of immigration from Europe and the make of the middle class.

Her dad died when she was so young
She went out and celebrated with the crowds. Imagine that today
@Hayden’s Games She would have been then but there were no worries regarding it then. Just won the war, millions happy people around her.
@Hayden’s Games Maybe after winning a world war the equivalent so Harry or William would be celebrating with the public. Although saying that, in todays world, there would have been German sleeper agents due to so many living in the UK.
@Hayden’s Games True. The lack of TVs probably meant they were harder to identify. Japan has developed into one of the great nations of the world.
it's so weird how you can't watch a video properly anymore because every time you see a large crowd you think of corona
If Corona existed then , people would have said fuxk it cuz it’s the end of fucking WW2!!!
Why do you think about that beer, it taste like cat piss
I can only imagine what it must have felt like... Mothers and Fathers crying knowing that their sons would come home... Those that lost sons probably cried in knowing that no more would die... Here in the States, some people ran to church to give thanks. Some cried while walking down the street. And of course some partied like never before and never after...
And as the Lord G-d looked down on man's desecration of humanity, the animal kingdom and His earth, He must have reserved some relief and gratitude that He had created British democracy, the British fighting spirit and a man called Sir Winston Churchill.
Our Country’s Greatest Generation. Thank you to all who Served Our Country. God Bless America
WE ARE ENGLAND HEAR US ROAR
Eat crap germamy
Alfie H ILL Hsaliill then but not now

You've roared in the past. Today you whistle from the last hole.
We are the UK you mean.
Our greatest generation would be ashamed of us if they could see how we have thrown away the legacy they left to us. If you are also angry about the state of modem Britain I beseech you to refer via UA-cam or Twitter to Patriotic Alternative, The Iconoclast, Way of The World and Daughter of Albion among many others. You are not alone. Advance Britannia!
Wonderful images. Such comaradera. Thank you.
I’m a Yank, and God bless the British!!!
Thank you. Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S Grant are some of the greatest men in world history
Here in the year 2020 we now know the heartfelt joy that they obviously felt.
The sad part is the soldiers that died did not get to expierience this celebration and victory
#VEday
Loving the spirit ppl are showing when we can’t see each over ✔️
75yrs on, we salute you all, the best of us...🤞
Thank you to every men and women who risked and sackrificed there lives for our freedom
One of the greatest British Prime Ministers of all time. Sure, he had made mistakes, but everyone is not perfect.
Oh my God!!! How wonderfully beautiful!!! 💖 Let's start every day around the world like this!!! 😃👍
I remember the crowds outside Woody.EXE’s palace last month cheering as me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE finally appeared on the palace balcony at midnight on May 8th, 2023. The crowds were just like this and everyone went nuts when the 5 of us appeared on the balcony a few times throughout the Anniversary
Proud to be British 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I was born in 🇨🇦 to a 🇬🇧, 🇮🇪 & 🇺🇲 woman & 🇺🇲 of 🇸🇪, 🇨🇭 & Welsh man. I once again hope there would be a victory in Europe Day again with the end of corona virus in the future.
My dad was just telling me today as we had our street party that he was six years old and on his dad's shoulders as they walked down the Mall along with thousands of others that day. They are in those crowds somewhere! 75 years ago this very day - incredible!
I had a party as well, everyone was waiting for me, my sister, Mummy and my 2009 Woody to come out; that was my first time we had crowds in St Julian’s my hometown. We didn’t care about lockdowns
Happy V.E day everyone!!!!!!!!
U to :)
this literally gives me chills
what a time to be alive
Thank God we survived!..Now let's get on with Peace!😁😁😁😁
Imagine if we had lost! That would be a NIGHTMARE D: D:
Christopher Fisher We we’re close to war with the Cuban crisis
@Elberiver11 You make a good point
Thinks about
Vietnam war
Korean war
Gulf war
Falklands war
Afghanistan war
@Elberiver11 Churchill didn't drag us into war. Chamberlain did.
What a wonderful, joyous day that must have been!! But the scars left on humanity by the disgusting Nazis will never heal. Thank you for this amazing video!
When even the brits are showing emotions you know its some real shit
HAPPY VE DAY FOR TOMMOROW EVERYONE! UK! UK! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND THE QUEEN
I’m looking forward to VE Day 78 as Woody.EXE makes his first address to Wales as monarch. Hell do so incredibly well I just know it already. Then me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE will celebrate with mass crowds outside my house where all the celebrations happen. The crowds always go nuts when all 5 of us come outside to greet them every few months. We can’t wait for this day
There are hardly any obese people in the crowds. Today we eat garbage food from supermarkets.
probably because everyone was starving and rationed
A moment in history that should never forgotten. Long live Britain 🎉
People today can’t understand how hard that war was it was the worst time in human history:( And it could have been prevented. If only they had stopped Hitler in 1935 when he invaded the Rhineland.
75 years after 🥳🇬🇧
i thank my teacher for sending me this emotional masterpiece
😂
I did an assignment on VE Day and I found out it got published along my Anne Frank work. I have a lot of war stuff around my room and Mummy is impressed with it
What a glorious victory for the British people. Praise Almighty God
I was here after watching 'A Royal Night Out' 😭👍
Hi.. from Indonesia 🖐
Jir, ketemu orang Indo juga
Wah, ada orang Indonesia juga
Thank you to those those fought for their country. For their pride. For the future.
Thanks to their heroic sacrifices and split-second decisions, I am a free human being.
@Recognise Subversion Yeah lmao
Its makes me feel so happy to see everyone so so happy now that the war was over . It nust have be so scary to be there in the Blitz but mostly fighting for it !!!!!!!!!
God rest their beautiful souls xxx
That economical boom brought a mass of immigration from Europe and the make of the middle class.
respect mate we think of Argentina as our friends now
@@alfiegrove7233 Cheers, mate!
You look at this historic moment and think how long ago it was. Then you remember our immortal Queen Liz is still alive.
Did you have to curse it
Very happy people after 6 long years im sure
So moving. What a generation they were.
I asked the gpt chat question: "Which country made the greatest contribution to victory in World War II?" and received the answer: “The Soviet Union made the greatest contribution to the victory in World War II. It was the main ally in the fight against Nazi Germany and suffered enormous sacrifices during the war. The Soviet Union played a decisive role in the battles on the Eastern Front and represented a powerful force capable of change the course of the war in favor of the allied forces."
Unfortunately, history is being rewritten, which is silent about the role of the USSR in World War II.
yes, the ussr made the greatest contribution by far, but without the contribution of every allied nation the war would have been very different
That was... MORE THAN AMAZING!!!
Thank you God for saving our ancestors !
Thank you that we had Churchill.
King George VI was never even supposed to be King but he became one of Britain’s Greatest King’s😌.
He sure did and now Woody.EXE (Toy Story) can be the greatest king of Wales since George IV. I feel honoured to be his Queen and we will be crowned on my 21st birthday
Can’t believe that 2045 will be the 100th anniversary of VE Day
I will be in my 50’s then
Sobering to think that everyone in this video has endured some terrible hardship and grief... lets hope we never experience anything like this again.
You know something ?
Either
(( if it was England ))
or
(( if it was America ))
People back then they were so so patriotic. !!!
But in our world today's it is a disgrace.how people just don't care. People need to be proud of their
Land,.
(( DON'T YOU. AGREE ? ))
WE ALL NEED TO BE PATRIOTIC IT MAKES OUR COUNTRYS STRONGER !!!
CHEERS......
White Americans are a minority now and soon to be in Britain
My mother was 21 on VE Day 1945. She would have been 100 this year. I miss her.
Thanks To the British Troops And British Officers During June 6th 1940 - June 1st 1945
Happy VE Day Everyone During Lockdown!
THANK YOU BRITAIN FOR EVERTHING SINCE WW2
Your very welcome my friend 👍🇬🇧
Thank you, just thank you ❤️
Fantástico! Impressionante!
The happy looks on their faces!! What a bittersweet moment. Times were very hard in the past. Many wars, diseases, depression, inflation, revolutions, laborious, inconvenient…
A day where humanity was united.
My great grandfather (an American) was still a teenager when the war ended. He was born in 1928. He died in 2015.
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Happy VE Day 75th Anniversary🇬🇧🇬🇧
This is truly heart warming to see
75 years since the end of the war.
YOW Gyrl The war In Europe you mean
Thank god and these soldiers for their honour and bravery when fighting that war!

From videos and photos I’ve seen of the King before the war, it’s clear that it really aged him. What a time!
