The clasp is the only reason I would not get a Mene chain. 24k chains should have a 24k S clasp or M clasp in my opinion. All the Thai 23 and 24k gold chains have the 24k M clasp
@@bbrown9049 There’s been bad reviews for those and how they deform over time. Thai gold is processed more thoroughly to wear the hardness is reinforced. And those “S” clasps are 24, yet tough as nails.
Look at my vid from a few months back. I removed, melted, and made the clasp Into sprial loops to close the necklace shut. This thing is never falling off my neck.
Man I love these, lol only problem I ran into was having to order the 28' due to my 25' neck, but the added length made it worth it. Question was that the rounded or "heavy rounded"?
That's a tough one. If I was choosing by style only, I'd probably say the heavy cable chain. It doesn't need to sit flat, it always has the same look. Unfortunately they don't make one any heavier so it's about half the weight of the flat curb at 26". Since I added the loops to the flat curb so it's fixed closed necklace, it doesn't spin or twist. So it's alot better now in my opinion vs how it came. But it still kinks from time to time and I have to physically unkink hoping not to damage the kinks. 🤷😁 Im keeping both so there's that. Let me know if you want any videos of me wearing them together or whatever. 🤙

I agree, however the heavier chains are all 24k they have sort of a t- bar "clasp" that goes through a loop.

Agree. On a bracelet I made and posted I made a quick s clasp and it's strong. For necklace I buy long enough to pull over my head.
